I am reminded of the time I came out of Event Horizon. I was angry enough that I was BARKING for two minutes. I genuinely could not form human speech, I was that angry.

He’s usually WAY less angry, and way less scatalogical. He’s a pretty talented movie reviewer, and one who’s quite capable of discussing the fine points of a movie. But this one…

Exactly my thoughts. I mean, if they’re that bent out of shape about just HAVING to show it to me now, I’ll make it easier on them and I’ll just ignore the film entirely. Hopefully that will assuage their fee-fees.

Real quick - was this Netflix themselves who sent this out, or was it MSL? I (luckily) haven’t received any emails from Netflix, but HOLY SHIT if this is what they think of me as a dude, fuck that noise. Preferably with the dick that they previously stuck in a blender, per your excellent advice.

I always forget that Reliant/NRG/WhateverTheFuck has a retractable roof. Because, yeah, IT’S NEVER OPEN.

WE DEMAND ANIMATED SWERVE.

Seriously, just, that entire comic. All of it.

I was trying to remember the proper name for that one - I’ve also seen it as “Anita’s Irony”.

I’ m so glad SOMEONE posted this.

Given the pedigree, I want to be more optimistic than I am, but whoo boy that don’t look good.

Beat me to the punch, I see. The Killer DM's tables will always be remembered!

Dragon #96. The Killer DM's "Wandering Damage" table. And "Nogard", the ultimate high-level adventure.

I… Oh, SHIT, THIS MUST HAPPEN.
The only thing that would be better than a Prowl add-on would be a Nurse Whitney screenplay accessory for Thundercracker.

Good GOD, did I want that one.

I'm thinking that power is a lot easier to route than ethernet. It's definitely not a PROBLEM, but still, there's a cheap way to make part of the layout easier.

This plus wifi dongle plus VESA mount onto the back of a cheap DVI flatscreen, multiplied by five or six, would be an amazing pop-up Artemis attraction for cons.

Overall, I agree - the problem is that if you don't have a neutral wire in your switch runs, you're really limited in what smart equipment you can use for switches.

I've been using the SmartThings hub for about two years now (wow!), and I've been pleased with it. I JUST got a Wink hub with some of the GE connected bulbs, and it seems to work well - I actually use the bulbs through SmartThings, which works GREAT - but the big part for me with Wink was the Caseta in-wall dimmer

His version was my introduction to "Heartbeats" - when I finally heard The Knife's, I was kinda startled.

Which original movie are you thinking of? Cushing, O'Brien, or Hurt?

Yeah - lord knows it's not GREAT, but I've still seen far worse. I'll tag it as the least of the H2G2 implementations so far.

Actually, not quite true - the comic books and the "Illustrated" one that came out around 2000 were both more let-downy than that, IMHO.
