This is getting tedious. I’m just going to call it Hermione in honor of one of my fave Harry Potter characters, and let it go.

I wrote an atrocious dystopian novel (or novella) when I was sixteen. When I was eighteen, I reread it and threw it in the trash. That was 48 years ago. What I didn’t know till now was that lots of other kids did the same.

I read all 3 books because Veronica Roth made me care about Tris and Four as characters. However, I never bought the explanation of the five factions, and the series’ attempts to explain them got more and more convoluted as time went on.
