But in most, either the choice being there means it’s available to you, or the odds of success available and the roll to determine its success is hidden from you, and the failure fairly inconsequential.

The fascinating thing, to me, about the discourse surrounding the romances in BG3...
Not all of them put their foot down with monogamy. Some do prefer a committed partner, some are cool with sharing, some are initially cool with sharing but desire more of a commitment in the end.
this is DS2 in DnD form
Probably avoiding spoilers for now, plus clicks generated from people going “wtf” and checking the article.
Be careful with all that pearl clutching, you might hurt yourself.
I’d much rather they embrace making the adaptation their own and acknowledging that...there have been many good adaptations that have done exactly that, changing what needed to be changed for the different medium in which the new version is told.
I don’t think you grasp just how split screen is meant to work in this game.
Fine. Not bragging.
Sounds like you followed a guide for an OP build.
Strikes me more as “+2 petulant child stomps feet” kind of vibe, tbh.
Right.
From what I’ve seen of BG3, I just assumed it was Divinity with a Baldur’s Gate skin (which is fine by me but I can see it disappointing OG fans). I don’t really see that much different
The game was one of the first live-service disasters when it first launched in 2013, and was even entirely shutdown for a time before re-releasing as A Realm Reborn.
Of course, with BG3 talking up avenues of choice - for good or ill - there’s absolutely a chance that you can choose to help her succeed and that be not at your expense, but rather to your benefit.
Nah, chief. You were trying to be critical of the game, highlighting what you thought might not be a good sign, and got caught in a bad take observation. Now you’re trying to back up and pull the “It was a joke” card.
Movies will hire an intimacy coordinator for one love scene. It’s really not about the amount of such scenes, nor about being cost effective, it’s about making sure the performers are comfortable when performing any scenes like that, whether it’s one or a dozen.
Then you’ve been paying fuck all attention. There’s been plenty of news about other systems and aspects of development. If you’ve only perked your ears up because someone mentioned titillating content, that’s a you problem.
I’d quite surprised if there were many, if any, NSFW games that also used mo-cap that was specific to their game. Or mo-cap at all.
Theoretically they could, but they’d get more accurate mocap data to work with for scenes with two individuals.
