which may, at times, have crossed the line from criticism into toxicity or personal attacks.

Most question marks were forts, animal dens or bandit camps.

People don’t do farms like that cause they are fun, they do them because they end up being absurdly efficient.

This was indeed confirmed in the Starfield deep dive they did during the Summer Game Fest.

They’ve already got an insane amount of store loyalty, to the point where people will wait a year or more just to play the game on Steam over another launcher, even if it’s a game they really want to play.

It’s more that the entire game would tell you stuff that was going to happen next, and so the entire game had essentially established itself as filling in the necessary details.

Mostly due to the trend toward favoring the negative news cycle, and with Cyberpunk’s launch it basically got farmed for negative clicks for months.

Very early in the EA, that was genuinely a problem. There was a ton of grimdark, and very often decisions were between dark grey and a different dark grey, with no positive outcomes allowed. Companions were universally jerks.

as yet another Larian game that will be similar to Divinity: Original Sin

This one definitely seems to be pointing in the direction where you can be a hero - you’ll probably have to resist the temptation to tap into the things the Tadpole is giving you, which at times is quite useful, but pushing through while being as good as possible seems much more likely here.

Pronouns are a separate choice in the menu...added late last year, I think?

He is 100% optional, as are all the companions.

The first two, at least seemed to be a mix of quickly switching between dev created save states and having to change the variables on the fly...and accidentally leaving the game in debug mode after doing so, lol.

It won’t help with your decision making, but I missed a crucial detail with the Dark Urge final Origin character when describing it earlier.

Not sure why they only mention the demons in the article - maybe because the video only shows a demon patron arriving on the scene (and that may be Wyll’s patron as well anyway). You can choose to be a Fiend, Great Old One, or Archfey Warlock.

Pretty much all the jank and stuff I noticed seem to be on the streaming side of things rather than the game itself.
