“Interest in Star Wars Jedi Survivor has decreased since release, which means it’s a bad game.”

“Interest in Tears of the Kingdom has decreased since release, which means it’s a bad game.”

Do we see how stupid this looks now?

Like, it’s a mediocre bloated open world game. And those are a dime a dozen. But the hate boner

You got my click, but not my respect.  Shame that you’ve circled back to the corpse to try to get a few more heartbeats out of it.

It’s a single player RPG, and like the headline says it’s been 6 months after release with several high profile games that have launched in the interim and soaked up the limelight.

Only mildly less shitty than Amouranth’s pity campaign about how she only did OnlyFans because her abusive/controlling husband made her, and yet they supposedly split and she’s still doing OnlyFans.

Sounds like a great profession. People throw money at you. People celebrate you for using sex work to empower yourself. And then when you’ve made enough (for now) you can tell those same people who threw money at and celebrated you that they are horrible for doing so and that it has irrevocably harmed your mental

Man considering how much of ARR is basically about going to Indigenous-coded societies and killing anyone who practices their local religion,

All the shine of a thousand spotlights
All the stars we steal from the night sky
Will never be enough
Never be enough
Towers of gold are still too little
These hands could hold the world but it’ll
Never be enough
Never be enough

Hes not the main character I’m not sure how much screen time you expect him to have to show off him and his partner.

I feel like this entire article ignores every little bit of Drake’s Breath.

Never played this, nor do I really care about fighting games at all. But I am a little uncomfortable with the sanitization of deliberately provocative media. It’s a transparently fetishistic fighting game, I’m not sure what face you’re saving here. That said, at least it seems it was the developers of the game

Yeah, this aint it chief. Articles that are this long that are basically “my head canon didn’t come true” are pointless. This is pointless. People are angry the thing they made up in their head didn’t happen. The only reasonable response is “so”? Not to expend this amount of energy.

I think the people upset by this

Fans are frustrated with the way Yona’s appearance works to reinforce heteronormativity in Hyrule

Shipping culture is one of the worst and most toxic parts of the primal cesspit that is fandom.

Nintendo doesn’t need to do shit. This is a non-issue to the vast majority of Zelda fans.

If Nintendo wanted to avoid articles like this, it would have been very easy to do so.

I just can’t understand fans inability to believe 2 character can just be friends.  Like EVERY friendship seems like it MUST be a sexual relationship, it’s just strange, and a little creepy.

Talk about nonsense! It’s a videogame it doesn’t need to tick all the political checkmarks under the sun. You want to ship Sidon with Link? Go right ahead, hell Zelda’s ancestor Rauru is a furry! The game’s story is not going to stop you.

I was watching the show to see video games personally.

Why all the snark about what the men are wearing?  Shouldn’t we be able to wear whatever we want without attracting comments from the opposite sex?

I dunno, to me that’s where it gets way more interesting from a game design perspective.
For what it’s worth I don’t think they’re saying Link is some sort of imperialist, or that you’re a bad person for liking the game (it’s rad as hell, you should love it), they’re just pointing out how ingrained ideas in society
