And I like to point out that the Warrens support and promotion of the idea that the Amityville house is haunted and thats why Ron Defeo killed his family means that they are going out of their way to help a killer get away with murder by saying the ghost made him do it.

I’d be perfectly happy with Paltrow going the way of Portman in the Marvel movies. Both of their characters are terrible, boring, window dressing. Also these two are among Marvel’s weakest (usually much better) casting decisions; but who cares, because the roles suck anyway.

Well, having a suit is still powers... of a sort.

If I was Disney, I’d just bury this movie and try to write it off. It’s going to be a disaster and will do even more damage to the brand than TLJ did.

If they want to BEGIN an action franchise, why would they cast such old actors?

Ugh, who watched the first movie and said “Hey, this would be even better with teenagers”?

And was it the same person who put that shitty music in the trailer? Either way. . . meh.

I think that Universal failed to understand the success of the MCU. In most cases, the MCU character made the actor A-list. It was the excellent casting and writing that made the films work.

It seems like someone said “Man, could anything be poorly run as the DCEU?” and Universal’s Dark Universe said “Hold my beer..”

They could’ve made such a great modern horror movie with the Mummy and let that sink in before deciding how to proceed with a “verse”...instead they went the route they did and everyone rightfully ignored it.

There are various lawn enforcement charities you can donate to, that are good causes. In return you sometimes get a sticker you can put on your car.

Oh - and telltale sign - “I’m perfectly capable of taking care of my children when my wife is away.” How about when’s she’s there?

Ha, was scrolling through the comments and yeah, a lot of snowflakes here, who feel emasculated if an intelligent, strong woman even speaks within their personal space of the entire world.

Plus their counterarguments always reveal their true beliefs, that diversity somehow “weakens” or harms. They see no gain or purpose unless it reinforces the norm. They’ll try to argue (I’m not the racist, you are!) that competence/quality/experience is more important than diversity because it doesn’t occur to them

I prefer to give women like this my attention.

Is this site always this full of bitter misogynists who are so threatened by women?

Slyly done. Imply that a female scientist would be less of a bonafide expert than a male scientist. How clever. Making the subtextual assertion that only men can report facts.

No—we all “get it,” the problem is that the scene was both stupid and incredibly cheesy. It was just an all around poorly executed idea.

Thank you, I am indeed an idiot who never even liked Star Wars, despite owning shelves of toys as a kid and watching the original trilogy more times than I can count. I don’t know what I was thinking, watching these movies I didn’t even like all these years. I’m glad you set me straight.

Economic immigrants fleeing shitholes who see the American shithole as a step up make perfect immigrants. They hustle. They appreciate the good in America that has yet to erode away. And they often love America far more than native born. Plus they tend to bring some bitchin’ food.
