I agree. The Supreme Court will overturn the Ninth Circuit’s ruling in Friedrichs. What I don’t understand is, the poorest, least educated, least healthy, states are republican-controlled. And yet the republicans think they are the answer to working people’s problems? They have run their red states into the ground.

I’ve been lucky, and I only have one regret in my life — that I didn’t spend more time with my dog. After she died, it was too late, and I would have given anything to get some of that time back.

There are over 7 billion people on Earth. Consider this Darwinism, and any site that encourages it actually benefits the planet.

This product only exists so that people can use it incorrectly.

There are a lot of strange edits in the movie. At one point Jyn jumps up and says “you’re wrong about my father!” — but we didn’t hear anyone criticize her father before that. And when the group is stealing the shuttle on Yavin, Bodi says “Yes, we are” — but that is a total non-sequitur to what the Rebel tower was

If you’re ranking by cultural import, Antonin Scalia is #1. He was part of a court that decides what our government can get away with, and what it can’t. Many of your others are just entertainers - seemingly important because we may personally enjoy their work, but no real impact on the actual lives of hundreds of

His underling even had to suggest closing the shield opening, since Krennic forgot to give that order. He really was out of his league.

I actually think the current ending is sadder. None of the group knows for certain that the rebels received the plans. They hope the rebels were listening, but they died not knowing for sure. I think that’s a sadder death than handing the plans off in person.

That was Betty Royce singing. But Debbie was great too.

Feel free to verbally punch me in the face for saying this, but when I heard she had a heart attack, I immediately thought about the way Disney pressured her to lose weight quickly for Ep VII. Rapid weight loss is very bad for your heart. I know she also took drugs in her youth and maybe had other risk factors, but

The attendance looks about right.

LOL. Just because two people disagree, that doesn’t make either one of them a dumb-ass (except on the internet, apparently).

If he woke a pretty woman instead of killing himself once before, he would do it again.

She is supposed to be alive 120 years from now. By waking her up, she won’t be alive in 120 years. That’s cutting her life short. Even if she’s sleeping during some of that time, that’s still considered “alive.” So he cut her life short.

She is supposed to be alive 120 years from now. By waking her up, she won’t be alive in 120 years. That’s cutting her life short. Even if she’s sleeping in a chamber, she’s still alive. Taking away some type of life support knowing that doing so will shorter than person’s life is still murder, even if the person

Astronauts have historically been brave and selfless. I cannot believe any one of them would condemn an innocent person to death simply because they can’t stand the boredom. Sacrificing themselves, sure . . . but not what Pratt’s character does in this movie.

“Him giving her the choice at the end is super important.” — but is it really a choice? She already knows he can’t stand being alone for more than one year. If she returns to sleep, he’ll just look for another victim to wake in a year’s time, so she’d be condemning THAT woman to death.

Women don’t get enough credit for what they go through.

No, she won’t live “the same number of years.” The chamber would let her live another 150 years (90 of those years sleeping, but alive). By waking her, she will now only live another 60 years or so, losing out on that extra 90 years. If interrupting someone’s sleep means they won’t live as long, that’s still murder
