It’s murder because she will now live for only another 60 years or so. If he didn’t wake her, she would live for another 150 years. Sure, she would have been sleeping for part of that time, but we don’t subtract sleep time when we estimate the number of years a person should live.

But how would a women who gave birth to a 9-pound baby rate this?

Historically, astronauts have always been brave and willing to self-sacrifice. I would think an astronaut that cannot stand the boredom any longer would kill himself rather than cut another’s life short. So I already have zero sympathy for Pratt’s character, and don’t think I could sit through this movie.

Fishing grounds in that area is a touchy subject. I wouldn’t be surprised if future wars are fought over fish.

But is it really YOUR space if the reclining seat hits someone’s knees? Ask yourself whether the legs of the person behind you have a right to be where they are. If the answer is “yes” then it’s THEIR space, and your reclining should stop short of touching them. If you can recline without touching, then I think

First, I recline my own seat. However, my questions is why is it “ok” to recline simply because the seat is mechanically able to do so, without caring how it affects the person behind you, but raising the armrest (which was also designed to be raised) is a no-no if someone is sitting next to you (etiquette only

Whenever I hear local guys talk, I get flashbacks to Rap:

My wife and I refer to them as “F-arts” — after Frank Hart, the sexist, egotistical, lying, hypocritical bigot.

“you’ll marvel at how dense every frame is packed with (for lack of a better word) Star Wars-ness.”

The only thing I understood from all that was the reviewer thinks the worst Star Wars movie (“Attack of the Clones”) was the best Star Wars movie.

I learned this gem from Homer: just scream “I’m a hemophiliac,” then shriek like a woman and keep sobbing until he turns away in disgust.

“likely, everyone died, right? That’s what happens in realistic war movies” —

Besides the religious angle, doesn’t the regulation infringe on a parent’s right to decide whether to donate the tissue to scientific research?

They look great, but . . . I think that Jyn Erso jacket would look equally good on a man, and why can’t women get an Imperial jacket if they lean to the dark side?

I don’t know why people assume the ending is supposed to be grim. Star Wars’ opening crawl says the plans to the Death Star were stolen during the Rebellion’s VICTORY against the Empire.

Wow, ANOTHER movie that looks like it’s almost black and white. Are all directors these days color blind?

Yep, when I hear Tom Cruise’s name, that is the “Gods and Monsters” that comes to mind!

And I suppose it’s easier now with digital, as I won’t waste film taking hundreds of shots. (But I still don’t think I’d get anything like these).

I can never vote for one because I’m always amazed at them all, and also jealous that I will never be able to take photos like that no matter what fancy equipment I buy because I just don’t have an artistic eye. This is probably why my parents never threw out old National Geographics.

I starred you because of course you’re right. But then again . . . maybe the earth wants/needs fewer humans, especially those in first-world countries who use a disproportionate amount of resources?
