Dignified and regal.
Dignified and regal.
I don’t think it’s just deference to a superior human. Dogs treat different people in the same family differently, and it’s not always the “alpha” (mom or dad) that the dog prefers, sometimes it’s one of the kids. And many dogs will die for their people, and that’s the opposite of self-preservation. So there’s more…
My mother had a dog who was allowed one biscuit, up to three times a day. The first time she’d take one biscuit from the bin and go on her way. The second time, same thing. The third (and final) time, she’d gobble down as many biscuits as she could before we could drag her away. I think she could count, at least…
They hire teachers who can’t even spell “Happy Birthday” correctly.
“Transporting creatures is illegal” might explain why he took a boat TO America, but not why he also took a boat BACK. Unless he picked up more creatures to take back with him? I’ll admit, I didn’t actually watch the movie, just wrote this based on the article above (that says he took a boat home). But if he picked…
Yeah, that was my take on the joke too. Offering a couple of non-traditional choices is one thing, but 37 is ridiculous, because at that point you’re saying gender can’t really be classified at all- so why bother making up 37 categories then? And even if you personally think 37 categories is a good idea, the…
Everybody knows hypohemia is a real thing.
I think the message is, stop donating money unless you are ALSO saying a prayer. Ok, will do.
What Disney is lacking are the more extreme rides that other parks have (like inverted coasters). Maybe they could turn Epcot into an adult/older teens area with better rides, alcohol, rock concerts, etc. They could still have a “theme” (like futurism or technology), but target an older audience.
It doesn’t have to be race. If one gender treated another that way, or one religion treated another religion that way, I would be very bothered by it.
Does this movie still pretend that wiping someone’s memory is acceptable behavior? Because to me, messing with someone’s mind is worse than rape. For all that these movies pretend they are about non-discrimination, they are actually extremely supportive of discrimination, as wizards know what’s best for muggles, and…
Humans don’t seem to have a problem breeding and overtaking their environments, so I don’t know how “important” it will be the future to increase human populations EVEN MORE by bringing back previously dead people. But I guess this company is like a religion — pay money for the “peace of mind” that comes from…
A deer!
Hopefully this means we will see Arthur and his knights in COLOR, unlike the trailer for the Guy Ritchie version which appears to be in black and white. Are all directors these days color blind? Why don’t we get movies in color anymore?
The cartoon is also filled with COLORS, which the remake is not (except for the dull CGI grey, blue, and orange, repeated ad nauseam).
It’s cute, but for $100, it should be able to shoot out an actual green laser (like a $5 laser pointer).
Most impressive.
I sort of feel the same way I did about the Star Wars prequels - I would be “ok” with them if they were set LONG ago, without any characters who have already been named, and showing events that we do not know for sure actually happened, or where truth got mixed up with legend or myth. So, maybe 1,000 years earlier,…
The first two movies were also the most visually appealing, not just grey CGI everywhere.
Why are there so few colors in this movie? Sadly, the overwhelming grey-blue is expected now days for snow/night/CGI scenes, that’s a given. But even the indoor scenes are limited to blue-ish and gold-ish, and that’s it. Even the red/green of the rose is dull and doesn’t pop. At least the animated versions are…
