No PWR BTTM?
No PWR BTTM?
Last season of this show was fucking amazing. Can't wait.
That's fair, Xanthippe was by far my favorite part of the season.
By the third time the tough cop dropkicked one of their suspects, I was laughing pretty hard.
Disagree with the current seasons of Fargo and Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, but most of this is pretty good. I very much approve of the inclusions of Man Seeking Woman and Bates Motel.
I recently watched Bong Joon-ho's Barking Dogs Never Bite and Memories of Murder, and really liked both. Even in Barking Dogs, which is his debut, you can tell he's really great with chase scenes.
It's weird not seeing a Lorde review here, especially considering the site posted a Newswire when the album dropped.
Damn. Really glad I watched that one live, because spoiling that would've been a huge bummer.
Honestly, I loved this season - thought it was at least better than S3. My ranking is probably something like 4 > 1 > 5 = 2 > 3.
No honorable mention for Piper-Larry? ;)
Thank God Tom Yates is finally dead.
Totally agree on every part of your comment. I'd probably say S4 is the best season, but maybe tied with S1.
Yeah, I'd say these past two episodes have been pretty bad. The only standout scenes in this one were the Pennsatucky-Linda scenes. That said, I still like this season a lot more than a lot of people seem to. Up until these past two, I thought it was really great, and I still have faith it'll end well.
I like the show, but I feel like it being only 10 half-hours per season hurts it (especially in this past season). When all six of the series regulars have their own individual plots, it's hard to juggle it all. I remember being really impressed with the last couple episodes of S2, but in S3 the finale didn't feel…
Was Linda saying she has 'weird associations with pee' supposed to be a reference to her sorority sister friend who died outside while peeing, or is it just a throwaway joke?
I had the same thought about the nose.
Love that Soso is becoming one of the most sympathetic characters in the show. It's so strange to remember how seemingly one-dimensional characters like Soso were when they first joined the show.
I was hoping Watson-Soso would get a high ranking. That was a lovely pairing.
My eyes always glaze over the credits so I had no idea, but as soon as Taystee walked into the library I thought "it can't be…" Then Poussey's mouth appeared and my heart almost stopped.
Piper and Taystee's awkward handshake was maybe the hardest I've laughed so far this season.
