See, this is the kind of episode I love. It's weird as hell and so much of it takes place in other dimensions/inside a character's mind, but the plot is relatively grounded and concrete. I'm one of the few who isn't head over heels for this show; I really like it, but occasionally the extended dream sequences feel a

Didn't laugh much this episode, except the reveal of Nick not having Cece's number in his phone.

Yeah, both characters have breakthroughs at precisely the most inconvenient time. Last year Mickey had a breakthrough about her sex and love addiction right when Gus made his romantic gesture, and this year Gus had his breakthrough right as Mickey was falling into the arms of someone else. Pretty frustrating (in a

I love Xo-Rogelio and Rafael-Petra, so I was very happy with this episode. I have no idea if both couples are endgame (I suspect the former is, but not the latter), but I'd be very pleased if they were.

As usual, a disappointing lack of Shoshanna. I’ve always felt like this show would work better as an hour long, or it should at least cut down on a character or two (Desi is the obvious candidate).

Damn, you're right. She's great, though.

Yeah, that therapy scene was absolutely riveting. Robin Weigert should totally get a Guest Emmy for her performance as the therapist.

I laughed a lot at how long the bowling pin gag lasted, with Tandy determined to "get a spare."

………………………….

Good lord. Let us pray that next week's musical episode saves us from this dreary, nonsensical mess of a season.

I totally had the same thought about David Davidson. I don't know how she didn't catch that, but it would've been funny to see Norman explaining "no, that's just a guy who was having an affair at the motel."

Liked the meta line about how it'd only been three weeks since they met.

I believe Riz Ahmed is actually coming back two episodes from now, according to IMDB and episode descriptions.

Having very mixed feelings about this season. On the one hand, pretty much every scene tonight worked well, and Hannah's various arguments with her mom and Elijah were great. Elijah's "You are going to be a terrible mother" was absolutely brutal.

I stopped watching this show at the end of S3 and always meant to return to it, but there was always more important stuff to catch up on. That said, the idea of cutting the cast down to just Emma, Hook, Gold, and Regina would've made me super excited back when I was watching.

I'm in a graphic novels/comics class right now, and we've read some that I've really enjoyed. I just finished Vol. 1 of Kelly Sue DeConnick's Bitch Planet, and a few weeks ago I read Rutu Modan's The Property and liked it a lot.

God, that would be really sad.

Not sure whether I'm actually upset with the show for killing off Lewis or if I'm just sad at his death, but either way, I'm kinda sad. They also did such a good job with his backstory with Mark - and the hope of him flying out to find him, even if he was likely dead anyway - that this was pretty depressing.

I got the sense that she wasn't actually kidding, and that she only said she was because Gus rejected her and she had to stay in a position of power over him.
