This show is so good at showing the passage of time / doing gradual time jumps without feeling jarring or rushed. Reminds me of that episode last year with the big time jump.

He's coming back in episode 9, though I don't know if it's just a guest spot or if he'll actually be a regular again eventually.
Bad. Really good review, though, Zack.
Love that this show follows the model of having cliffhangers almost every week, like The Good Place.
Yeah, I thought the nos were her and Cece. Schmidt's no surprised me.
Anybody else notice Zooey Deschanel laughing when Nick said, "He wants me to go upstairs without a belt…"? Jake Johnson even stumbles over the next line.
I figured Michael would live, but the scene where Jane describes their future made me think, Oh, fuck, they wouldn't show this if he's going to live. Luckily, Michael lived and everything is beautiful.
- Turning Melissa violent and cold-blooded was really the best thing this show could've done for January Jones.
Blue Valentine, for me.
This is awesome. This season has been amazing TV, and one more season sounds about right based on how the plot has progressed this season.
Good show, though I watch it for the Misty-Wheeler romance a lot more than anything having to do with David. (Paul Reiser is good, too.)
That scene when Sam started crying made me cry, and then the ending scene did, too. Disagree about Sam's speech being "too cloying" - it's the perfect thing Max needed to hear.
Yeah, that's a good point. Maybe it would've been cool to stick with the idea of increasingly bad things happening to the overall timeline - natural disasters or villains or something - but still have Iris/Wally/Joe/Cisco oppose Barry because they don't want their world to change. I just feel like the stakes are so…
I didn't even think of that, but yeah, that would've made a lot more sense.
I've always really liked Robbie and wanted him to join the gang, so I'm down with this development.
Alright, bear with me for a sec. I knew they'd never do this (especially because this is practically the opposite of the actual Flashpoint arc), but this is what I was hoping this arc would look like: Barry would decide to go back to the old timeline not because of escalating terrible things (Wally dying, Joe being an…
It's great that they've been able to keep coming up with a steady procession of sight gags for Will Forte.
This was a hilarious episode. And even though I was waiting for that last-minute twist the whole episode, that didn't make it any less funny.
Surprisingly solid premiere. Normally the kind of comedic, light episodes are the show's weakest, but this one was kind of pleasant and refreshing. Not sure if I'm confident that this season will be a return to form, but I'm at least interested in seeing where it goes.
Right, and even this premiere makes it seem like there's a possible Frank redemption arc in the future with him really realizing nobody gives a shit about him. Pretty much this whole show has been about teasing that idea, though, so I don't have a ton of faith that they'll go through with it this time. (Nor do I…
