The thing is, I really liked the arc with Bianca the following season. I might've liked if he died in the S5 finale - maybe if he found Bianca's dead body and then he killed himself because he realized no one else out there cared about him, or something like that. He was completely superfluous throughout S6.

Oh that scene was amazing. It went on for so long, and the dual interpretations were so flawless.

I found Alex's 'being a mom' runner mildly amusing, and Ty Burrell's delivery of that line "GO FOR A RIDE IN THE CAR?" was brilliant. Aside from those fleeting moments, this was 2 Broke Girls-level unfunny and cringey.

Exactly my thoughts. I hated that.

Yeah, he's pretty great in A Guide to Recognizing Your Saints.

B episode.

I thought that was going to be the joke.

Love this show, and this was a really funny premiere. I had some problems with S2 - I'll likely always prefer the more contained episodes (like the Mike solo episode) over the sitcommy group episodes - but I thought this episode used the ensemble really well. Tandy and Carol are probably two of my favorite characters

Yeah, this was pretty mediocre. The Dunphy plot was, as per uzh, by far the best, but still not great.

As usual, the few slight chuckles came from the Dunphy storyline, but yeah, this was pretty dire.

Are they going to get a new roommate to replace Schmidt, or just leave that room empty? Will it even be addressed?

I enjoyed him in Enchanted.

Good to see they're sticking with the format of the subtitles, since my favorite season was "American Horror Story: My Escape from Asylum."

Love the New Girl attention. Do not love characterizing Summer as a "fickle, Smiths-loving sprite who only exists to give meaning to the life of Joseph Gordon-Levitt’s (500) Days protagonist."

Lena Dunham and Amy Schumer. Probably obvious, but there you go.

I really like seeing the more frequent Gordon-Cameron interactions this season. Their bonding in S1E8 was one of the first really fun moments of the show, and it's strange to think about how little they've actually interacted over the course of the first two seasons.

I really liked Max Records in Where the Wild Things Are. I also read this book years ago and remember liking it, so I'll probably check this out.

Every trailer makes the show seem so much more fun than it actually is. The trailer between S3 made it look great, then it turned out pretty bad.

- I hate that Jeremy was brought back at all, but especially as a cheap deus ex machina to literally kill off all the characters that posed any threat to the main characters (assuming Coleman and Yael are dead). Jeremy's the least important character, so having him be the one to make this supposedly devastating choice

I love What We Do in the Shadows, and I just watched Waititi's Boy last night! I thought it was just okay - the story was a little too familiar for me - but I'd never seen a movie in that setting, so that was interesting, at least.
