That said, there is something funny about him threatening the statutory maximum for people who are mean to statues.

Trump’s only play, when confronted with literally anything, is doubling down on hatred—bigotry, sexism, racism, xenophobia, homophobia, transphobia, Islamophobia, whatever. That is it. It is the only thing that causes his white supremacist base to foam at the mouth with the virulent adulation he desires and causes…

And he only made the announcement to distract from his sad rally and his walk of shame.

I think a lot of the cities are just happy to have someone else make the decision for them on these statues. “They pulled it down. What a shame. We don’t have room in the budget to put it back up, so...”

I think she’s just traumatized from having her career ruined from speaking out against Michael Bay that she doesn’t trust the media or the public.

Whenever I see people without masks, I cringe and think of all the germs they’re passing to the rest of us. The pandemic has really fucked me up. Ha!
