I’d watch the hell out of that Oscar broadcast.

To be clear, my “pointless” comment was regarding the toxicity. I don’t need to measure a net benefit or ensure that we are getting equal value, but if I don’t generally walk away from encounters with someone feeling good things about my relationship with them, then I’m not going to continue that relationship.

I’m a woman, and my friendships are nothing like this. My closest friends and I are nice and supportive, because [duh] we love each other. That goes for my friends of all genders. It also goes for my romantic relationships, because emotional torture just isn’t my thing.

In my early 20s I watched a few in my bid to watch a lot of film classics. I thought they were wildly overrated and I’m pleased to see the shine is finally coming off. 

For real. Women keep saying that they were super uncomfortable but felt that they couldn’t react negatively. Men keep giving the excuse that they didn’t get a negative reaction. How are they STILL NOT GETTING IT? Maybe I don’t know, listen to women? read the damn room? A grown fucking man shouldn’t need to be told not…
