Correction of shame: I rage typed my first post. I actually took the time to look up the lie this morning. My husband weighs around 200 lbs now, but has weighed 220-230 in the past. He is also 6-2 and built like a college linebacker, so he carries weight deceptively well with super broad shoulders.

We are also transitioning to online classes on Wednesday.  It is pretty stressful.

Well, his doctor is a well-established liar, having previously claimed that Dumpo is 6-3, 200 lbs, and in great health. So, forgive me if I don’t trust a word that comes out of that liar’s mouth. I’d give it 50/50 odds that Dumpo has the virus and just doesn’t give a shit about endangering other people.  See: he

I’m hoping that people are starting to take it seriously. Our state went from zero cases to two, to 12 to something like 25. It isn’t looking great. And that doesn’t even count people like me - likely exposed, but still untested, waiting for the person further up the exposure chain to have their test come back. It was

This might be a duplicate - my posts haven’t been posting consistently lately.

Posted upthread, but my top three:

Preface: Bernie has always been my #1, but I would have been happy to vote for Warren if things had gone down differently.

IMHO, three solid Bernie running mates would be:

Yup. It is the surest proof that this whole thing is really about his ego, not doing good things. He could have financed safe drinking water in Flint, flood relief in Kentucky, wildfire recovery in Australia...all the things, really. But nope, gross sycophantic commercials was the highest and best this jackwagon could

And yet, none of this will matter one bit in the general election because the chances of South Carolina going blue hover around zero. If this is a contested convention, we need to get really serious, really fast about which candidate is able to pull votes in states the Democrats can *actually* win for electoral

Please sweet baby Jesus, let it be so. I really hope that neither of these two eedjits are around when I vote in two weeks.

I read the Atlantic article attached below a while ago, and it talks about the same things Michael Herriot did in this piece, as well as your comment. Hungry, worried children who are constantly threatened with eviction, loss of a caregiver, loss of utilities, and loss of stability are not in a position to reach their

The lawsuit claims that, in 2017, the state of Michigan directed Detroit to complete a wholesale residential reappraisal, the first in 60 years.”

Your lips to God’s ears. May these two very non-representative states be the last we have to hear about these fools.

Laughing because this is A+ Kinja, and I firmly believe that he will be relegated to the bench (where he belongs) as soon as South Carolina and Nevada vote.  I just don't see people of color voting for Mayo Pete.

Upon further consideration, because I am a diabolical super bitch and want you to have a great D-Day from this jackwagon and his stuff:

It has a very Trumpian ring to it. It also reminds me of the type of woman who buys into the Eat, Pray, Love grossness from a few years ago, where an ultra privileged (you guessed it) white woman *has* to take a hundred thousand dollar trip around the world to *find herself and her truth.* 🤢🤮

Re: the karma factor, I would argue that it already has caught up to them. The trash bags deserve each other. Good riddance to them, and rock on to you! Keep us updated on The Final Countdown. I sincerely hope that you get to drop everything at a Goodwill and tell him to go-fetch like the lying, lazy dog that he is!

To be fair to Des Moines pizza, this is all food that a person who relocated from a small town might eat on the way to or from a hangover. Centro (downtown Italian restaurant) has one of the best Margherita pizzas I’ve had outside Naples, and Fong’s Pizza is a local and slightly insane shop that melds Chinese food and

These were my feelings as well. I hated wearing the fucking thing. It didn’t feel rebellious or cool. It felt controlling and it attracted the attention of creeps while violating my preferences (pants, pants, forever pants.) I hated every damned second of it. I used to cover mine with an untucked dress shirt and one
