Sorry Brazilians, but your country just got added to my list of “Nations of the World that are absolutely terrifying and why would anyone live there,” right up there with the U.S. (which is... where I live... oops) and Australia (I choose life).

It’s a real shame that Volcarona didn’t make it; it would really complete the amazing bug lineup available in this game.
Steam/Valve Loyalists are as big a reason as any that the gaming industry is as flawed and exploitative as it is. Players and developers alike accepting and straight-up encouraging exploitative micro-transactions, its stuffed to the brim with loads of shovelware and early access garbage, and just generally its a…
I’d certainly classify myself as a disappointed Isaac fan, but it was always more of a hope than a prediction.
Honestly, I’m in more disagreement over the “soft white bread” than I am the creamy peanut butter. I use creamy peanut butter on non-sandwich things like apples or bagles - though if I had to buy only one or the other, it would be crunchy for sandwiches.
So what you’re saying is, just because people have been born in the last 20 years they’re expected to mature twice as fast as those who were born 30, 40, etc. years ago?
Question is, would there be a limit? Would it even be possible for Nintendo to do EVERYTHING that would give them easy money? I feel like they already do a lot, things would start to get unmanageable if they pursued every good idea that comes up.
The ESRB should simply implement a warning which is required to be on the box / download page of games with Loot Boxes. This would NOT affect the game’s rating, as they have nothing to do with the actual content. Fire Emblem Heroes, Star Wars Battlefront 2, and Call of Duty WWII do not deserve the same rating (much…
This whole thing just makes me question what they count as a AAA game.
Not that I exactly disagree with your point about collectathons, but I wouldn’t call it a “steady downhill slide.”
Sometimes the jokes do get more in the racist direction, but making fun of accents and language quirks is a regular cornerstone of humor (you can watch almost any comedian and see it). Maybe there’s more to it than I’m seeing, but my impression is that if it weren’t for the simple fact that Uganda is an African…
Definitely the 3DS (“Daddy’s Big Little Nintendo”) and Switch (“Zelda”) are great, but I think my favorite has to be the Dreamcast:
The problem is that the Xenoblade 1 fans trying to decide whether to buy this game want the opinions of someone who is coming to the game from a similar viewpoint as them. Someone who is more likely to share their particular sensibilities about what makes the game so good in the first place.
Xbox One Exes.
I’ve never directly broken one, but I’m sure that I’ve contributed to the eventual failure of my controllers before (such as my GC Wavebirds). I used to spike them directly down onto whichever piece of furniture I was sitting on (be it my bed, the couch, etc). Since the surface was soft, it was far less likely to…
If all engines had the scalability of ID Tech, PC gaming would be far more inviting to those like myself, who have PCs that are decent but aren’t really built for gaming.
I would rather them work on updates than on banning people. Having a toxic player every 5-6 matches, or even a hacker every once in a while, would be a small price to pay for more content.
The Red Sox are totally justified in this one.
I don’t really understand what about Mercy’s changes would turn people off of playing the character. Her core gameplay (gasp - res is not her primary function) has not changed - she got a different ultimate and a new ability.
