You realize the first Super Mario game to be solo was Super Mario 64, right? All of the sidescrollers had Luigi to play as, at the very least. 

This. PvZ2 kept many fan favorite plants from the first game behind micro transaction gates. 

I’m fine with the art style, but I really want to know how the microtransactions work in this one.  The way PvZ2 handled it made me not want to play the game at all.

As some that owns both a Switch and PS4 - and platinumed Horizon - BOTW and Odyssey deserved all the praise they got. I don’t even like platformers. Both Horizon and BOTW are from the same Ubi open world game mold, and are among the best of those games, but I give the edge to Zelda for the environmental interactions…

They still have them in the US too. I’ve been to a few Wendy’s in the last month (Boo-book Frosty promotion) and every single one has asked “vanilla or chocolate?”

Yeah. Rereading it, I think you’re right. Though it would have been a lot more clear if she’d either quoted Wendy’s or included a link to their press release about it. As it stands, it seems like she’s saying herself that it’s their only new flavor in 50 years.

I’m pretty sure she’s just riffing on Wendy’s acting like birthday cake is its first new flavor. She’s saying Wendy’s forgot about vanilla because Wendy’s is old, not that the public forgot about it. At least that’s how I read it.
