Huh.

I lost interest in the campaign after an hour. The standard avenging a fallen mentor killed off by grey fascist with some female idealist on the radio who will inevitably fall head over heels for the protagonist. And Optimus Prime along for the ride.

You mean to tell me it gets better?

This season was mostly perfunctory though, moving all the pieces to more or less where we expected them to be.

Next one is going to have a lot more surprises.

All of last season got leaked in detail nearly a year in advance.

Ratings aside that was an unmitigated disaster.

The Hutt’s were operating outside of Empire control not even paying tribute.

That ought to be more than enough.

Ben Solo only turned evil because his creepy uncle snuck into his room in the middle of the night and touched him inappropriately.

It’s perfectly understandable, really.

They succeeded in getting everyone else killed, and not being so bummed about it at the end that they couldn’t flirt with each other or accept their participation trophies from Leia.

Whoever gets nominated by the Insane Clown Party.

I’m well acquainted with the tone, hearing it right now.

Lightsaber fight in the throne room before the emperor? Spaceships getting torn apart? So very novel.

He’s a method actor, just getting into character.

Trump would NEVER do that!

People had far more positive things to say about the prequels when they were released - even the first one - than they seem to have about this.

“You’re a nobody, but not to me.”

Kylo Ren is the master of “negging”. I guess the Sith have their own mind tricks.

Darth Vader was going to let business men dictate to “him”? No. I don’t buy that for a minute.

Remember that one time he gave a frozen Han Solo to a bounty hunter so he could be delivered to the Hutt’s?

That’s more a game for the young people.

And CGI muppets.

All of this.

Honestly Leia doing Jedi things was the only thing that really bought back the sense of astonishment that even the prequels had at their best moments. Of course this would be subjective.

She could have done the Kamikaze stunt like an hour before.

It seemed like such a last minute epiphany and everyone was in awe of her sacrifice and resourcefulness. Because it apparently never occurred to anyone that you can ram one ship with another ship.

He was all civilized and European as opposed to being a vulgar brute. If that made her list of winning qualities there would be no reason to omit it.

What a perfectly baffling statement.

Wait, I thought he was chummy with Tyson?

Seems like there would be a conflict there.
