My husband is an unapologetic yawn-interrupter. He sticks his finger in my mouth when I yawn at least a few times a week. He does it to the dogs, too. He also wonders why I tell him to get his hand off me every time he touches my thigh. It's because he has some kind of sick compulsion to squeeze right above my knee

wait, what does it say about me that I was quoting all those lines right along with him?

Reverse the genders and that is every day of my boyfriend's life.

I just laughed myself to tears. omg.

Remember this for the inevitable day an article pops up about a woman beheading her boyfriend with an official Sting replica.

GONDOR NEEDS NO CONTEXT

"even on holiday. EVEN on holiday."

Hey, my wife! When did she become a dude?

I never remembered to look up why white is used for funerals in some cultures and only known that it was. You've just answered the question I've often meant to ask. The idea of sterility and death going together for that purpose makes so much sense now! My brain thanks you. :)

So in this case, when the national chapter of Phi Delta Theta said, "No more of this behavior," they really meant ... no?

Fascinating.

People look good in most colors. Its all subjective.

Anybody else grow up with white as a funerary color? Something to think about fashion people, some of us see all that white and think "sterility and death."

But the people who pull it off the best are darker skinned women.

And bored!

I have to admit that I *love* white clothing, especially when it's gauzy and flowy and ethereal. But the people who pull it off the best are darker skinned women.

I have never in my life looked at models on a runway and thought "she looks carefree". They always look grumpy and uncomfortable.

Wait. Are you the guy? Are you the guy who managed to make it 20+ years without having seen an egg cooked in any way but scrambled?
