500 Days of Kitten Calamari

“withheld information for a few days after the incident” is hardly what i call lying. you realize that doctors, who are liable for these kinds of things, and extra liable in this case, what with bernie being a presidential candidate and all, might be hesitant to declare a diagnosis until every test and bit of evidence

I have a horrible theory about this. So, stress contributes to heart disease, mainly by creating more LDL, and by making the arteries less elastic (while the LDL is making them less slick.) Plus a bunch of other much-more scientific stuff I can’t possibly explain.

The problem is we don’t need “strong advisors.” We need a fighter, we need someone on the inside who has the fire and will to spearhead through the establishment.

Actually, Bill, my Dad had one of those put in under emergency circumstances, and as technology improves, the difference between stent insertion and a “heart attack” is narrowing and narrowing.

LMAO all the armchair doctors and shitlib losers in the comments with their ghoulish concern trolling under the guise of caring for his health.

LOL no

only the good die young....(well.... young might be a stretch here)

Considering everything else, I would expect Sanders to do better now that this problem has been addressed. I’m sure that he feels a great deal better than before.

Honestly it could have and they would have covered it up. They’ve covered many medical issues presidents have had and Trump’s check up results were clearly bullshit. I feel like it hasn't happened honestly because his staff seems leak practically everything, but a cover up wouldn't surprise me either.

To be fair, Dick Cheney has had 8 heart attacks and his overall general health and lifestyle are far worse than Bernie’s.

Meanwhile Trump is as unhealthy and obese as ever. Why the fuck hasn't this happened to him yet?

That’s not how even basic human behavior works. I do like seeing the corporatists wringing their hands over this.

Fair enough, but this is not that. Besides, he resigned, which Trump is probably not going to do. I think public support needs to be higher to get the Senate on board.

They aren’t the majority. They’re just the loudest voices.

In his statement, however, Volker casts himself as a voice of reason in the chaotic negotiations

Too greasy and bitter for my taste.

Trump’s main strategy (such as it is) to fight the coming battle: don’t deny the charges—simply act as if soliciting foreign help to investigate a political rival and influence an election is extremely fine and normal.

It’s remarkable that John Roberts seems so concerned with his legacy, when he’s likely going to be remembered as the guy who allowed – hell, invited – the GOP to take a meat axe to our democratic system of government.
