I’m not going to argue with you for feeling that way. I’m a Sanders stan because I agree most closely with his policies and trust him the most to pursue the promises he makes, and I think he’s the most effective candidate at promoting leftism and pushing the country’s Overton Window left.

Sort of. The point of the thread is that the polling doesn’t actually poll a representative segment of primary voters. It’s also almost a year before the primaries begin, so the two people with the most name recognition are going to naturally be in the lead among those polled, further obscuring the truth.

The problem with the polling is that it is, by and large, irrelevant to the actual will of the voting public.

It’s the job of Democrats to court the votes of voters most likely to help them win elections. It’s the job of progressives to demonstrate that they are reliable and faithful partners who can be counted on to help Democrats win.
