That’s like asking why someone would buy a GT3 when a 911 Turbo exists. The difference may not be as pronounced, but the TCR is the hardcore option (similar to the Clubsport), where the R is the ultimate all-weather, all-road weapon.

Unless there's a hedge around.

Similarly, the hood airbag on an ND MX-5 needs to be disconnected before tracking it, unless you're a fan of premature deployment.

I won’t try to dissuade you.

Selling an apartment: Loro

Bio-hazard cleanup fees make them uneconomical to resell.

BEMUs (battery-electric multiple units, i.e. the combination of overhead power and battery storage) are actually a viable alternative to diesel power if the route includes segments with and without overhead wire, and they’re arguably more environmentally-friendly than H2 and don’t necessitate new infrastructure. Love the spontaneous prose/gonzo-esque style!

The Elise is pretty amazing, especially with the exposed gear linkage in the new ones (a detail, but so nice). They’re questionable reliability-wise and the clamshell design makes for outrageously expensive bodywork, but if I could’ve stretched my budget, I’d be driving one of those instead of an MX-5 right now.

In Europe the i30N is 8-10k cheaper than a similarly equipped GTI. No idea how that will translate to US pricing, but should give you an idea. It’s the performance deal of the century over here.

The farming games have been replaced by full on racism by now.

That’s genius actually. Brisk acceleration and the bad guys will never hear you coming!

Yet SRAM has started marketing their double chainring groupsets 22 to distinguish them from the 1x ones. Things change, even in a sport as conservative as road cycling.
