Looks cleaner and more inviting, and it’s a great update for non-motorized and local traffic. However, it seems to me that quickly identifying roads and their relative size/importance has become more difficult, which is important if you use it as a routing tool while driving.

You can have Tesla-only dealerships. Besides, your average Tesla competitor (Merc E/S, BMW 5/7, ...) isn’t really less technologically advanced anyway. Other drivetrain, yes, but the amount of CPUs, interior multimedia and even driver aids is similar. If anything, a Tesla is easier to understand and maintain.

It’s technically/legally a one-way toll road during the tourist drives, so no safety equipment required, other than a road-legal car. I’m guessing that Euro price includes taxes? If so, the standard M5 costs about €100k in Germany, €115k with a full leather interior and those wheels, so the price hike seems relatively reasonable at 10-20%, rather than 40-50%.
