Rupert Grint owns an ice cream truck. He wins a lot more than just this dirt bag :-)

Telling people to shut up or to go "fucking" anything is often not the most effective way to demonstrate how how unbothered and not angry you are.

Damnit Jaguar! I've managed to go my whole life without caring about the Superbowl or the half time show or the commercials. Why are messing with my perfect record?

The fact that your reaction is so angry really demonstrates that you're the one with an issue. She wrote about finding happiness in her life despite a major disappointment. It's a shame that that bothers you so much.

Well, she doesn't have a baby, and she's definitely not an alcoholic. She thinks that when babies are unwelcome in restaurants and bars it punishes women and especially single mothers or women in situation where they already don't have much help, by cutting off their access to the outside world. It's a fair point, I

I got into a disagreement with a friend of mine about this when she said she was really happy that people bringing their kids to bars was starting to be acceptable. People have to accept that having a baby means making certain sacrifices. There just are some places that should be for adults. I don't hate you or your

Yeah, she should definitely mope around, hating her life and being angry and jealous of the people she knows who do have kids (and I know plenty of childless women in their mid-30s who behave like that), rather than focus on the benefits of not having kids. God forbid she enjoy her life or talk openly about enjoying

I'm not sure why a woman who says she wanted kids but it didn't happen so she looks on the bright side of things and tries to appreciate the beneficial aspects of not having kids warrants sarcasm.

My college boyfriend went to Columbia and we used to go to Tom's all the time because people got such a kick out of it. I can confidently say it is among the worst diners in the city.

Seriously. When I was 13 I cried b/c I found out Leo DiCaprio was a smoker. At that age, your opinions about your favorite celebrities are pretty black and white and way out of proportion.

It's so great to watch when people are genuinely surprised that they've won. It was delightful to see Andy Samberg last night!

I don't know anything about the molestation allegation so I can't speak about that part of Allen's history. But he definitely married the very young daughter of his long time partner. I doubt that's the worst thing he's ever done, but even if it is, that's still completely shitty.

Wait what?? I never knew that about Russell. Ugh.

I love Steve McQueen but I Alfonso Cuaron was more than deserving as well (agreed about Children of Men - shockingly overlooked and underrated film). After he won for directing and 12 Years seemed to be getting shut out I also thought for sure Gravity would take BP. But I still think they'd have given it to American

12 Years a Slave is the first movie about American slavery to win Best Picture and aside from that, Django and Lincoln, I'm pretty sure you aren't going to find movies about slavery (and Lincoln is only debatably "about" slavery) in the history of the GG's BP nominations. I'm also relatively sure that Schindler's List

My opinion is suspect because I hadn't seen any of the films in the category, but I was really annoyed that Frozen won over The Wind Rises. And then I remembered that HFPA are a bunch of ass kissing celebrity worshipers so while their decisions are still stupid as shit (usually), there's at least an explanation for

I like her but if she wins a second Oscar I'll throw up all over everything.

I would welcome being wrong with open arms and bake my wrongness chocolate chip cookies from scratch. Especially if my wrongness included Lupita winning the Oscar.

Very few truly great performances/films win (or are even nominated) but some years are more egregious than others. This seems to be shaping up that way.

I'm not sure what the time period is for the GGs (is the award for last season's work, or this season's work, or from Jan last year to Jan this year???) but I think she has been SO amazing with the recall storyline.
