There are people who prefer Thor over Loki?? CRAZY!

Why didn't you like it? I like the noir-ish, pulpy feel of it, but he's such a descriptive author and I think that's not doing it any favors as a "genre" novel. It seems like it should be heavier on plot, but instead I'm always losing focus because of how weighed down in description it is. Also, for some reason the

Despite usually loving Michael Chabon, I'm 80 pages into The Yiddish Policemen's Union and not feeling it. Meanwhile, Cinnamon and Gunpowder was delivered over the weekend and now I kind of want to jump ship and start reading that instead. But dare I give up on Michael Chabon? I'm not someone who feels guilty about

Now playing

Frightened Rabbit is the absolute best!!!

I just watched Johnny Guitar and loved it. People don't usually mean westerns when they say period, but it might fit the bill. Bright Star is absolutely amazing, but it's not a plot driven film. Almost anything by Zhang Yimou if you're into foreign film.

Not to mention that he's being forced to live with the uncertainty of whether or not the fetus will continue to develop or if it is born if it will be alive or the very likely birth defects. Imagine having his wife kept on life support against his wishes, and then the fetus dying later anyway. Just horrifying.

Yeah, for a very long time now the only people Lee Pace was ever linked to were men. I assumed he was officially out. I'm not a fan of The Hobbit movies, but an actual relationship between two of the actors would still make my LOTR loving soul deeply happy.

Honestly, I thought he'd come out years ago.

Pro "lifers" caring about the baby's quality of life after it's born? Hahaha!

Dawson is THE WORST! Even watching as a 14 year old I thought he was insufferable. The college years of that show aren't great, but in season 6 there are some episodes that Dawson isn't even in, or is barely in. It's glorious.

What I'm asking is how does it benefit American politics to "not care" that the left doesn't have a serious political voice here? What practical good does it do for U.S. citizens that some European countries have policies that better serve their citizens? We could stand around all day and talk about how great Sweden

I'm very happy with my love for Sam :-)

Well that's great if you live in Europe. But if you're stuck in America where the far left has been so effectively demonized that they'll probably never have a significant political voice, and the people whose politics are gaining traction want the bible to be our guiding document, it's not so useful to tell yourself

I love that almost everyone I know who enjoys this show is so into Dean and Cas. ALL the Sam for me!

Congrats on your A++ choice in this important TV matter!

What does it say about me/Jezebel that I automatically assumed this was a response to a Tom Hiddleston comment?

Some post-TV marathon thoughts:

I think that's probably accurate, coupled with so many of us having grown up after Roe v Wade that we take reproductive rights for granted. We need to realize that those rights could, and are, being taken away, and that even though abortion is technically legal, too many women already don't have access to it.
