True.  I may just be a little scaredy bitch, but I wouldn’t want to depend on just engine compression (on a 100-year-old engine that you have to manually lube regularly) and one rubber-band brake that you can only use once at a time while going down the Rocky Mountains.  

I’m sure is sufficient as long as you aren’t going down mountains or anything...
