You had terrible crowds for this series all weekend, a side effect of Nets-Islanders-Rangers occupying people’s attention (the place was REALLY dead Saturday when the Islanders were playing what could be their last game at the Colisuem). He’s generally been well received at Yankee Stadium. He’s said as much. He was

The NL rule is so inane. As if the thrill of watching a manager pull a double switch is somehow greater than more offense...because that’s literally he only difference in strategy. And in the AL, the strategy is more interesting imho. Because a double switch is dictated by the situation. Everyone knows its coming. In

Oh no. I’m sure Cardinals fans will throw their tradition and unwritten rules right out the window since they’ve been victimized by having their pitcher injured at the plate.

Cuadrado is more of a Mourinho guy. Schurrle is not much defensively. Mourinho has some precedent for a January transfer looking like a bust initially, but I suspect Cuadrado to make an impact next year as he’ll have had more training with Mourunho and thus a better knowledge of Mourinho’s tactics.

You must be an Arsenal fan. As to the first point, if the ball is rolling towards the net, you play advantage like any other foul. If it goes in, advantage wins out, no PK. If it’s cleared as it was, the advantage is called off and the PK is awarded. Simple.

Well the time mentioned above was not the first. But the first time she was blowing me and just went for it, and after a few licks she asked if I liked it, to which I replied something along the lines of “fuck yeah.” and it became a semi-regular part of our sex life.

Bonus story: 11 years ago, age 19, sophomore year of college. My out of town GF at the time was visiting. I also played college field hockey on a women’s club team (I’m a man). Left my GF at the apartment to go to field hockey hazing ritual, she was set to meet up later. Before leaving the apartment though my idiot

Approximately 2.5 years ago, I was commuting from Long Island to New jersey for work. 90 mins with no traffic. Over 2 hours every morning. I was stuck in traffic on the Belt Parkway approaching the Verazanno when the feeling hit. I pulled over at the first opportunity I could, a Starbucks on SI I had located for just

I didn’t expect him to be anything less than a disaster at the plate...he’s still a disaster. And if you’re going to be that bad a the plate, you need to be perfect on the basepaths, which isn’t that hard.

And at the plate...and on the basepaths...

It could be worse...you could have Didi Gergorius, who was billed as defensive SS, and is almost as bad a fielder as Ian Desmond, while batting a mere .205/.250/.277. I hate Didi Gregorius. I never thought any one would have me pining for Brendan Ryan to get uninjured. Didi Gregorius makes more non-errors than anyone.

Very, very few, if any, coaches & GMs can do what the Spurs do.

I even did a Google image search for “Thunder Logo” and there’s lots of different Thunder logos, but none that look like that. Very strange. And I dug DEEP into those results.

Dated logos are one thing. That Thunder logo doesn’t look like anything I’ve ever seen.

If I’m punching someone in the head and that’s his reaction...that’s the point that I stop throwing punches and walk away...cause that’s a fight I ain’t winning.

I never claimed that it was stick check gone awry. I was simply explaining why all slashes are not ejections/suspensions, which was OP’s original question. Also, in another thread I clearly indicated that I was pro-ejection as I felt this slash was completely gratuitous and the sole purpose of this slash was to injure

Is that actually the Thunder’s logo? Doesn’t look right, but it’s a little small to tell. The colors definitely look off though.

Dude’s a terrible skier, imho.

As a defensive maneuver you’re generally allowed to “slash” your stick across another player’s stick. So a slight miss and you have a slash. Don’t want to eliminate that from the game. Also can have an inadvertent slash if you make a sweeping poke check maneuver and your stick gets up high. Both cases are 2 minute

I have no problem with the ejection. This was completely, totally gratuitous and away from the play. It served no purpose other than an attempt to injure. It was clearly intentional. Theatrics or not, there’s no place for that type of play in hockey and it certainly warranted more than 2 minutes.
