Pretty much all of the reporting I've seen aside from the St. Louis Post-Dispatch has Wainwright quoted directly as saying he saw Gonzalez doing "Mickey Mouse stuff at second." Which makes more sense when you think about it. If he was actually pissed off about Gonzalez talking trash from third you wouldn't say

How about Wainwright calling A-Gon out for sliding into second after hitting a clutch RBI double, when Carpenter celebrated almost identically after hitting a triple in the first inning of an earlier game. That reeks of hypocrisy to me.

Who said that??? My point is DON'T BE A FUCKING HYPOCRITE ABOUT IT!

Yeah, seamless is a terrible name, I just couldn't think of anything else to more clearly convey the idea. Certainly "frameless" works better, but less people might comprehend what I meant.

I give you this:

I guess my question is, when did "passion" and "enthusiasm" become synonymous with "self promotion" and "dickheadedness."

Hey man, if you want to think that it's only about the comment about Puig's bat flip, go right ahead, if that gets ya through the day.

+1

Also, is this part of playing the game the right way?

I see your terrible USA Today column and raise you a painful Buzz Feed list.

Specializing in rape defense?

I'm going to assume they're based out of St. Louis and that their motto is "We lawyer the right way."

"I don't always explain other people's jokes, but when I do, I still offer a +1."

I don't know about the Montreal Maroons...but Quint was obviously the beneficiary of a freak carom off the boards in the days before seamless glass. I imagine it'd be incredibly difficult to score 2 goals that quickly with out some type of freakish luck.

So wait, does this actually pay dividends based on the amount of money Foster brings in? Does it carry over into his post-NFL analyst career? Can the shareholders maintain claims against Foster in his inevitable post-NFL bankruptcy? So many questions.

I understand that, as per my above comments though, it's simply boiled (and I know boiling sap into syrup isn't easy), and my point is it's not really radically different from the raw product, and certainly nothing is added to it, so it doesn't really fit Burneko's own definition of what should be on this list.

I didn't mean that in a demeaning way, I'm sure it's an arduous process, so is refining sugar cane, I just meant it in a "maple syrup isn't really altered from it's raw ingredient such that it should qualify for this list by Burneko's own rules."

At least that'd be intellectually honest. But I don't know what I existed from the guy who ranked deep dish pizza number 1.

My wife's a feminist, and while I think it'd be foolish to label myself a feminist, I certainly agree with feminism 99.9% of the time.

I think you're grossly under-estimating my accomplishments
