So is this a temporary file that gets deleted upon exiting the game? It'd be handy for reloading before a boss fight with only one life before a game over, but I don't want to expect it to save my progress when I'm far from a save point, turn off the system, and it not being there when I turn it back on again later.

By the headline alone I was expecting something like fellas to reenact the Golden Girls, trading barbs like the awesome gals they are.

That was uncalled for.

I feel the same way. Dragon Quest almost always seems to have the same kind of setting, the same intentionally inconvenient systems in place for saving, and always ends in a fight against a green, pink, or purple demon of ultimate darkness. I'm frankly surprised they had the good sense to eventually remove the

Plus, y'know, there's no guilt to feel in giving money to Joe Hisaishi compared to Koichi "The Nanking Massacre never happened and Japan has always been nothing but the best and most super special awesome country ever" Sugiyama.

Nier was given a meager budget and still managed to be great in spite (or because?) of it. Type-0 and Bravely Default are the only other Square titles released as of late worth a damn and yet they stay in Japan. Everything else they make have awful stories or deceptively high price tags, and they actively decide we

If they ever bother to come here and read your comment, Square Enix will find some way to twist it into endless praise for their flawless craftsmanship, and that you would gladly pay $70 for a direct sequel to Final Fantasy II on iOS. The NES Final Fantasy II.

It's perhaps bitter of me, but it is depressing how an artist like Satoshi Kon dies so soon, while the "moe" train just keeps on running while making money hand over fist.

It's like SE figured if they release enough middling sequels with "XIII" in the title then the Final Fantasy XIII name will eventually average out to merely being unpopular compared to its current state as a widely panned, colorful turd festival.

The sooner it's out the sooner Toriyama can be fired or moved to a less-prominent project. Perhaps a sequel to All the Bravest would be more suitable to his skill set.

I would give a bit of money if it meant it would help this be made someday. It would be a tragedy for Mr. Kon's dying wish to go undone.

So will we *ever* see more of Kevin Butler? I honestly really liked the guy! Best Sony marketing push in years, at least in my personal opinion.

Xenosaga did't sell all that well in its home country either, and just looking at it one would think it was tailor made for the gaming demographic there. Then again, maybe it's comparable to how not every military FPS sells like hotcakes over here in America either.

And he's a huge, sexist, jerkass besides.

I JUST BOUGHT that Lenovo with a smaller HDD and for 70$ more at that. My inner miser is crying.

Now playing

I always liked the music playing in the Forest Temple, and I don't even care for Ocarina of Time as a game.

Nintendo tried innovating with their online-capable, game-downloadin' Satellaview system for the SNES and the 64DD's Randnet once upon a time. And yet it seems at the merest stumbling of those, they just threw up their hands and decided to from then on half-ass even basic Online Infrastructure 101. It's frustrating as

I'd like to see more strategy and individuality among players come not from soulless number crunching, but from the innate and the customizable movesets every Pokemon has at their disposal. My online experiences were a trite frustrating when every other player I encountered were using exclusively shiny Pokemon,

I gotta say, I really want to compete with players on my skill level, but the only people that I personally encountered online in Black and White were those who bred and number crunched for 900 hours. And once the battle starts, they play like there's money on the line, like it's a job, and a few even disconnect when

I'd be happy if they would just let us players walk in more than four directions already!
