That Minecraft deal is already gone! To think, if I were only faster I could have snagged it for a reasonable price without having to wait six months.

Final Fantasy XV at E3 2012: [www.metro.co.uk]
If they can keep the sexual objectification a little more even-handed between the two sexes than what we saw in Witcher, then I'm game.
Only weeaboos need apply.
Another game like Nier. Well, another game with a -story- like Nier's at any rate.
There was a rumor that Final Fantasy XV would show this year, and with an action-heavy battle system similar to Bioware's recent titles. Also there will be a sequel to Final Fantasy XII (sub)titled "Valiant Saga: Final Fantasy" where the queen of Damalasca hires a mercenary to stop a magical gate from being opened…
Why bemoan electric cars if they aren't any worse than what we've been using for over a century now? Don't cars with time-tested combustion engines explode during some types of accidents too? They have this flammable thing in them called "gasoline"....
He does sound like the type to shout South Park one-liners often and without context. Had suitemates like that. SO annoying.
If an older game is prohibitively expensive to buy, like unreasonably so by anyone's standards and not just those on a shoestring budget, then I can see a small justification for just downloading the ROM.
I would personally value the game at no more than $10-15, so it's a huge burden to those who either don't want to spend a lot of money and to those who might not already know about it. To limit a game to the secondhand market, at sky-high prices, and only to those who know to search for it in the first place is…
Can't get enough of good spritework. The mid-late '90s was a gold mine of the stuff in arcades and RPGs, especially from Capcom. Have you seen Breath of Fire IV? The animation is so smooth it's ridiculous.
Fair point. Also, not once during all of Final Fantasy X do you ever see Lulu's feet. It's probably a developer oversight, but it has bugged me to this day. Also, her outfit is dumb to wear in a tropical climate like she does.
I have zero clue why there's been such a hold-up making this game into a PSone Classic for download.
She looks like another schoolgirl character, and NIS isn't above dressing up their younger characters in very revealing outfits. She doesn't look like a capable adult at all based on this single image.
Lost Odyssey had a couple of those tagalong kids, but they weren't (much) less justified than a character like Relm was, in so much that their 1,000 year old grandparents (how's that for showcasing characters older than 18?) were their only surviving relatives.
Final Fantasy XII had some nice political themes going on, especially during production, but Matsuno dropping out (all the following are rumors) out of shear frustration with the process/higher-ups under the guise of illness was related to some severe compromises to his vision for the game. There was an increased…
Xenoblade's cast was a bit bland, but on the other hand they were very competent individuals that didn't get weighed down with whiny, melodramatic baggage. I mean, the "idiot" of the group was a 19-year-old of average intelligence amongst geniuses and veterans. He was completely self-aware of the fact and how his…
To quote Motomu Toriyama via an article on Silicon Era: "Considering the amount of work to make graphics that deserve HD, it is hard to make towns in the conventional style," reads a quote from Toriyama. He goes on: "In the limited period of development time, to convey the the great story that deserves the name of…
There were more than a few fauna-filled areas, ruins, and even a beachfront community in Cocoon. I can think of a few "sterile mechanical" places in other RPGs that allowed more exploration and interactivity than XIII had in its entire game. At least in Lost Odyssey I could linger and backtrack if so chose, and it…
So, when asked a few years back, why did Square-Enix keep making the excuse that the reason Final Fantasy XIII was a series of tubes with no degree of player agency, investigation, strategy, or any kind of variable gameplay was because making a JRPG scale world in HD was "like, so totally haaarrd-uh! *footstamp* *door…
