I heard the gist of this about Sugiyama for a while, and it was just the last straw that made me never want to buy another Dragon Quest game. Same goes for Orson Scott Card too. I don't want my money paying the way for them to print or shout their disgusting political views at us.

Dozens upon dozens of creatures beyond imagination in a single game, but the only human diversity they can be bothered to put forth is Whitey McHet, the Generically Gruff Space Marine.
