Any reason to assume that Jason Rantz didn’t just make a statement and falsely claim that it was made by an anonymous former USMNT player?

I had this happen once, much smaller amount but my paycheck was deposited twice, once as direct deposit and again as a physical deposit I made with the paystub. It was my first direct deposit in my career and I didn’t realize my direct deposit had kicked in yet and somehow the teller missed the note on my paystub too.

Philly fans will attack anybody wearing a primary red costume... just ask Kris Kringle.

Is Title IX the same across NCAA and High School levels? What I mean is, does Title IX have language specific to High Schools or is it general for either level?

He said that because the number of sports (10 for boys and 10 for girls) was equal, the school was in compliance. That is not how Title IX compliance works. There have to be an equal number of athletic positions available.

Watched most of the game last night and I don’t remember when it happened but Muncy got walked on a pitch that was a strike and you could see him start to prep for another pitch before realizing it was called a ball, it was only a split second hesitation but it looked funny on the live broadcast

The whole thing was awesome but I rewatched that first dancer in yellow like 10 times, so cool!

Pulled into my local Popeye’s on Sunday only to be greeted with a printed sign that they were all out, what a bummer :(

I don’t doubt your assertion, I am sure there are plenty of examples that support what you are saying, I only ask the following out of curiosity. What were the changes made in response to Tiger? Also, outside of teams changing how they played against him, did the NBA do anything to try and slow down MJ?

At least this will make him interesting at parties

Long time baseball fan, watcher of many games, sitter through of last nights 12 inning Dodgers vs Red Sox grind. Is that really what is keeping people away from the game, occasional bean balls and pitchers barking at batters? I don’t want to see guys get injured but it doesn’t feel like the problem of modern day

put it on a t-shirt

And staying on theme with more men than women in this graphic, we should throw in her husband Crap Bag for good measure.

My first thought was “I am glad I still buy Blu-ray copies of my movies” followed quickly by the realization that my Audible collection is totally digital...

I guess I will just continue to binge The Office for another year and a half, then I will move onto another show. The trend for all of these separate streaming services is terrible, I currently have Netflix, Hulu, MLB.TV, and HBO Now, I will add the Disney service when it releases but I am not looking to add many

I still often buy movies with the DVD/Blu-Ray/Digital combo pack, I just don’t want to put 100% of my trust into digital services, I want that hard backup in case they screw us all over.

Am I naive to think that complaints won’t be based on sexism? I assume the majority of people complaining either don’t understand the value of the goal differential or are in general less on the competitive side. I live in a “red” state, where I often hear the complaints about participation trophies, pc culture, etc.

I eventually got over it for the most part but I noticed it and spent a few seconds thinking about it every episode. I spent a few years living in an ex-USSR country and loved how true to form a lot of stuff felt, the accents were the only thing that weirded me out.

Could your age be factoring into how scary the original adaption was? I know that I was like 10 years old when I saw Tim Curry play Pennywish and I pretty much pissed my pants, now in my 30's I can watch the remake of It without being scared. Rewatching the Tim Curry version is still scarier to me but I feel that is

Watched it Sunday night around 10pm Mountain Time on HBO Now via an Apple TV on a 1080p LED, had to turn off every light in my house (porch, lamps, bathroom light down the hall, etc.) as even the smallest stream of light hitting a wall or window near my front room would create a glare that reduced visibility. Even in
