Nah nothing like that. It’s just that GTAO has been such a money making machine for them, that I think the next GTA might take a long while to come.

You summed up my thoughts perfectly.

Good points. It’s a good thing they managed to make the bromance work, it’s the glue holding everything else together. If it hadn’t been for it, this could had potentially ended up being as divise as FF13.

To me it was so boring and tedious that it felt like it dragged for too long. It might have been one or two hours, but it definitely soured my experience. I still like the game a lot, but that was imo a serious misstep.

That’s what I thought, it just wasn’t explained why exactly he had to wait ten years and what he gained from being there. I think an example of it done right is Ocarina of Time. It explains why they had to keep the hero in exile, he was just a kid, there was no way he could wage war against the evil lord. Here is just

It just mind boggling how chapter 13 feels like a completely different game.....in a terrible way. Here you are, ready to face the empire that has crushed everything you held dear and suddenly the game turns into a very poor imitation of Resident Evil with clunky, boring and underdeveloped gameplay elements that have

Like I said to another users, my gripes are with the gameplay. From a story standpoint, having Noctis struggle by himself makes a lot of sense. But the problem is that the game turned into a very mediocre Resident Evil to do this and it just doesn’t work for me. It was clunky and boring.

I just really dislike it from a gameplay standpoint. It’s like the game suddenly turned into a bootleg Resident Evil with a bunch of clunky underdeveloped mechanics to back it up.

Chapter 13, the point where the game gets confused and starts thinking it’s a Resident Evil instead of Final Fantasy.

Oh yeah, definitely, though I don’t think it’s the same. Nowadays you can debunk stuff faster thanks to the internet and the game also has less glitches.

By the time they release GTA VI we’ll probably be on our 47th president.

The weird thing about San Andreas was that I had the most fun with it when I wasn’t playing it the way it was intended. When it came out, we were still in the era of gaming urban myths and I remember exploring the woods with my friends searching for Bigfoot, ghost cars and all that other stuff. We had a lot of fun

Gay Tony was IV at its best. It was fun, it had its bit of seriousness but it knew that it had to be fun.

And the story was a mess. To the point where you lost track of the characters and at times even Niko’s main goal. I remember how characters from the earlier missions started popping up in the late game and I was like who the hell is this guy?

That depends on what you consider“underrated”. While it probably has the loudest detractors, the game was a critical darling, scoring a 98 on metacritic all positive reviews. The only game that surpasses it, is Ocarina of Time with a 99 rating for N64. In fact in terms of critical appraisal, GTA V scored lower.

It really has the best soundtrack of the series.

Oh yeah, practically everyone that has a Wii U has MK8. I myself don’t think I’m gonna get if I get the Switch, but for everyone who might be jumping into this after skipping the Wii U, it’s definitely a good game. Especially now that it has a proper battle mode.

I’m by no means a fanboy. How the hell am I a fanboy if I’m saying that the 3DS and Wii U both had absolutely shitty first year?

Cheap ports to anyone who owned a Wii U, in other words five people (including me). While Mario Kart 8 is a port, it’s bound to be a hit, given how very few people have a Wii U so for many it’s practically a new game.

I think the lineup will look weaker for those who own a Wii U. And while I do think the Switch is poised to have a better first year than the Wii U, that’s not saying much considering how awful that year was for the Wii U. Hell, I didn’t get the console on launch, got it one year after with Wind Waker and by then it
