You are getting both the big Mario and Zelda on the same year. On top of that they are paving the road with other solid Nintendo titles that while they might not interest everyone they are sure to be great games, like Splatoon, Xenoblade and some ports like Mario Kart and supposedly Smash.

I dunno, I just can’t consider a Nintendo lineup pitiful when it’s getting both the next big Zelda and Mario on the same year. On top of that it’s getting a new Splatoon, a MK8 port (which might as well be a new game to everyone but the 10 people I play with), it’s getting another Xenoblade and a few other Nintendo

Ohh right. In that sense I can’t guarantee anything since I’m not a developer, but I’ll imagine that one of their goals will be to make the transition between strategy and battle seamless. Wouldn’t surprise me if it ends up being something like Xcom in that it’s all in 3d.

I dunno, to me things seem to be moving a lot faster than in the Wii U era. I still remember picking a Wii U on 2013 and my only games being Wind Waker HD and New Mario U. For like a year, I only had those two plus Mario World and Pikmin 3.

Well, I imagine it will definitely be something more or less like Awakening in the sense that it won’t turn into a realistic looking game. It’ll probably look very pretty, but it’ll be animeish for lack of a better word.

Rule 34 is alive and well.

The fact that your phone doesn’t melt when you lose a battle is just further proof of how Nintendo keeps dumbing down their games to appease the casual crowd.

I bet even the Japanese people attending the event probably didn’t understood anything he said.

Well, it’s a mainline FE made for Switch so I think it’ll definitely be an hd one.

It just wouldn’t be Suda 51 otherwise. That’s his signature.

I can tell you who didn’t. Adam Jensen.

Some speculate it might be mobile gaming in 2019, but I’m not sure yet.

Yep, mobile gaming in 2017. Next year it’s gonna be mobile gaming in 2018.

“Nice of them to.. SWITCH IT UP!”

No it doesn’t. Not only would releasing their big games at once result in having them compete with each other, it would create gaps between the big releases, which is what killed the momentum on the Wii U. A great example of this is Titanfall 2. Reviews considered it fantastic and some argued it was the best shooter

Smash Deluxe being confirmed on E3 is a very big possibility.

That game is still in development, in fact that was just a codename.

Honestly, I think this is by far one of the best lineups they had in a few generations. The Wii U’s biggest heavy hitter was New Super Mario Bros U a game that had no hype and quite a few found lackluster. It took the Wii U more than 6 months to release anything worthwhile. The 3DS was a similar story.

“I’m saying that Nintendo has a horrible track record with their online services, so for that service to be paid now is cause for concern.”

It might have some things to iron out performance wise, but most of all it makes sense business wise. It would be a bad idea to release it near Zelda.
