I would throw my wallet at the screen, if they put the FF Advance games on the 3DS. By far my favorite renditions of FF1,FF4 and FF6.

The only reason I bought a PSTV was so I could finally play Persona 4. For 20 bucks, it was definitely worth it, but yeah, it was basically a Persona machine.
Man, I would love a sequel to Skies of Arcadia. That game was my whole summer for a year.
Oh I get your point, I’m probably the one who didn’t make myself clear. Basically, I agree with you that there are better engines to work with and that it would be even better if they worked on something original. But, if they enjoy working in that project, then I’m happy for them.
They uploaded a video back in October. So for what it’s worth, they are still working on it.
Why feel sad for a group of people that are doing something they love? Sure, they could probably do something more productive moneywise, but hey if this is what they want to do with their free time more power to them.
Thanks to the island scan, I got a Togekiss and Samurott. So I been sending togepis and oshawotts through WT as a gift. Been getting Trumps, caterpies and the other usual suspects.
The Wii U failed because it was a complete marketing blunder. So much that people thought it was an addon for the Wii. The Switch already has more hype than the Wii U ever did and people actually know what the hell it is. That should tell you how much they screwed it with the Wii U.
“If you think square has been sitting on this for 2 decades and is going to release the first part for anything short of 60$, you’re delusional.”
That sounds horrible! What were they thinking!?!? Did they just tried to artificially extend the game’s length?
We don’t have enough information to say any of that. It could very well still be a $60 game or it might not, we don’t know. Why jump into such a brash conclusion before we get more info? Why not just wait and see? If it’s too expensive then we simply speak with our wallets and not buy it.
Nowadays gamers assume the absolute worst of everything. Chances are it could still very much be a $60 dollar title spread into a few episodes. And yeah, FF7's story is not a masterpiece, it could definitely use some improvements.
Yeah, I agree. As I get older I have less patience for JRPGS. They used to be my favorite genre and while I can still play my favorite franchises (FF,DQ,etc.), I noticed I have a harder time getting into newer ones. Especially ones that come up with way too many terms to explain their world and logic.
I’m on Chapter 12. To be honest, if I had known that the chapters were gonna go by very fast, I would had spent a bit more time in Chapter 7. There’s a lot of good stuff to do before jumping on the boat.
Glad to hear I’m not crazy. It had everything I would have normally enjoyed from a JRPG, yet I couldn’t get into it.
If you are on chapter 7, then do not get on the boat. At that point you won’t be able to slow down as the game becomes very linear and the next 4 chapters go by very quickly.
I hated the Platinum Demo (only demo I played) but I’m enjoying the main game.
Same, after absolutely hating FF13, I expected this one to be awful too. Yet I been pleasantly surprised by it.
I can’t for the life of me get into Bravely Default. It has all the makings of a good traditional FF, yet I played the first game for like 15 hours and didn’t enjoy it at all. Weird thing is, I can’t explain why I don’t like it.
You and me both, I absolutely hate FF13 and everything it stands for. I hate it so much that I had lost interest in the future of the series and had written FF15 off. It took a lot of friends to convince me to check it out. I’m glad I was wrong about this one, though.
