You might want to check out FF15 then. So far it’s a very enjoyable single player game with lots to do. And this is coming from someone who absolutely hated FF13 and thought this game was going to be another disaster.

I remember playing Dark Alliance on Gamecube and man that game was awesome. My favorite character was Adrianna. I remember being super bummed that the sequel never came out for Gamecube :(!
I dunno, I grew up with them and I recently replayed them and man even with nostalgia goggles, I felt they haven’t aged well at all. They are a clear product of the 90s, lots of things to collect, random difficulty spikes with some levels, the controllers are sometimes weird/unreliable, etc. I’m genuinely interested…
It’s nice to hear that they been refining the gameplay, because those games have definitely not aged well. Graphic wise, I like what I’m seeing, but I wonder how they’ll improve the gameplay.
Now granted I don’t have insider knowledge to base this opinion, but from a cursory glance at the industry and global economy, I think long term AAA development might be a bad investment more often than it’s good.
It totally is, don’t let anyone else tell you otherwise. Soldier:76's is one of my favorite character designs of Overwatch even though I don’t like playing too much as him given that gameplay wise he is your generic COD/BF soldier.
So the Foundation update is basically the Minecraft update? Seems like they are fully embracing the Minecraft aspect. That’s good, might make things interesting.
Absolutely. It was a different and in some ways simpler time, but it made the hobby a lot more enjoyable.
Even though I had never heard of this game before let alone play it, watching that trailer gave me a bit of nostalgia. It reminded me of how impressed I was at the time with the graphics and world of Ocarina and Morrowind and how many Saturday mornings I spent in those worlds.
My interpretation of Mimikyu is that he basically started as a fan of Pikachu, but got so obsessed that he wants to BE the Pikachu. Kind of a psychotic fan more or less.
Unless he is basically the yandere pokemon.
Yeah, that’s pretty much season 1 Ash. Considering how Ash-Greninja is a thing in the game now, you have to wonder if Ash is now a part of the games.
That’s the vibe I’m getting from Mimikyu in the games, that he is obsessed with Pikachu in a creepy fanboy way. Oddly enough, one of the pictures seemed to be from Ash. It seems like these games are trying to establish Ash’s presence in the game’s canon.
What I found interesting though, is that one of the pictures in that room is from Ash and his Pikachu. Is Pokemon Sun/Moon trying to establish Ash in the game canon?
I love that trial and to add insult to injury, I beat Mimikyu with a Pikachu.
My mind is blown by so many fake articles!
Last time they did it was with Gen 4. With Black and White they made sequels B/W 2 and with XY they completely skipped a third entry.
That question has bugged me for years. Who was the person who said “You know what this game needs? A love scene between Sonic and a human girl.” And more importantly, how did the others agreed with that person!?
And a continuation of the XY. I mean that was Lysandre’s argument for his actions. Huh, looks like Pokemon might be getting a more consistent narrative.
All I need in my life now is Snoop Dogg as a dungeon master. That would be amazing.
