I’m not defending Musk or Tesla, but with battery capacity being a major selling point and cost element for any EV, it makes sense Tesla would want some flexibility here.

I miss Snazzberry. But I also miss Honda Passport’s Black Copper Pearl and Civic Si’s Blazing Orange Pearl. And I like the Colorado’s Harvest Bronze, so I might not be the best judge of colors.
Reminder that only boring people hate Mitsuokas.
Is there a better option?
Golf carts.
Around here (Central Alberta) it’s a $110,000 F-350 King Ranch. All the old guys now have huge trailers and still think they need to support the oil patch. They’re a menace.
I understand it. Just because the rest of the world has caught up to it in terms of performance doesn’t mean it still isn’t extremely fast. It also has a delightfully tactile interior, no added hybrid tech complications, and even at $120k it’s going to hold its value pretty well. It isn’t a bad choice for somebody who…
except that even people willing to pay $60k for an ICE car have run out. Thats why Ford has come out saying they are going to start development of cheap entry level vehicles again. Non-luxury cars can only survive on volume. At $60K, ford, toyota, Hyundai, honda ect have started to price themselves out of their own…
Lol ok man. Is there anybody who genuinely shouldn’t at least consider resale value? “I will live in this specific house until I die” is a strange (and often unrealistic) flex for anyone to declare.
How this didn’t make the list is beyond me...
I agree, and I put the Mercury Maruader in a very similar boat.
Already done.
I can’t be arsed to look the guy up, just going by what the posting says. <shrug> “David De Rego — also known as @Qball1754 — is a well known automotive social media influencer in Hyundai circles. He’s a member of the SoCal N Club and is popular enough that he has some contacts at Hyundai corporate.”

Looks like the rest of this media company is being sold for parts with comments turned off everywhere. All I want to add is I never like Bradley.
I got my hybrid Maverick for $2500 under MSRP. I waited 15 damn months, but Ford did price protect me on the 2024 i ended up getting. MSRP $27,800, paid $25,300. Funny how Ford can build 750,000 F150's, but can barely crack 100,000 of the Mavericks that customers want.
As I navigate through ads and click continue reading even more ads on this clunky, shitty site I often wish Mr. Emslie would take this series to The Autopian so I can be done with this shit once and for all.
I have a Q60. It's not great. Not terrible, but definitely not great.
