Sure if consumers were rational, however since EV shoppers care more about MAX RANGE instead of electricity consumption any little thing to make the “tank” larger is going to make the car so much more attractive to buyers. It may be only 2.4 percent more efficient but since the capacity of the battery is so friggin

just think about the amount of carbon emissions of people flying all over the planet on jets to the port to board the ship and then fly back to their homes when it’s all done!

The only thing tjat gives me pause is this two tier approach will have some buyers thinking the have the gold plan when they actually have the silver and some of them will feel burned.  Hopefully toyota dealers will do a good job explaining the program and not just burying the paperwork in the stack of documents

your living my dream always wanted an Abarth but now my prius is starting to seem too small and i will probably have to go up size instead of down like i really want to.

Fiat did sell a Gucci edition last generation.

the honda hybrid system the the toyota hybrid system work completely differently. For example only the electric motor drives the wheel under about 40mph and above 55mph only the gas engine drives the wheels. However if the battery is low the gas engine will kick on and charge the battery while the electric motor

Yeah i’m begning to think the numbers i saw when i looked it up was not the v8 numbers also the v8 quarter mile time seems to very greatly depending on what options z71 is noticeably slower  in the quarter mile.

Very excited to get behind the wheel of the civic hybrid hatchback! Took them way too long to bring this to the states!

Now playing

Not a plug in: Cliff notes: basically the Electric motor only drives the car under a certain speed over a certain speed only the gas engine drives the wheels (around 55+ mph) and there is a grey area in the middle where it can split power between the two power sources. The gas engine will kick on to top off the

If i could pick ANY car i would pick the lucid air because that car is freakin sweet and drving that for 250,000 miles sounds amazing. If i had to pick any car i could actually afford I would pick a prius or lexus ux hybrid.

I wonder how long you have to Uber to get that $2000 check. It would be neat to see what the bare minimum to get that $2,000 check would be, min max get the rides done make a small amount of income in the meantime and then uninstall the app.

With no Dealers in the middle to obfuscate this fact it is very neat to see how often cars ACTUALLY change prices. with no kickbacks/”cash on the hood” to send to the dealer the end users actually get to take advantage of the discounts.

fun fact: the Honda ridgeline could beat the v8 Colorado in a drag race.

Makes sense, interest rates being where they are and the economy being what it is does not leave a lot of buyers for middle of the road “just for funsies” cars. Automobiles exist in two spaces right now: super utilitarian economical vehicles, and expensive cars for the wealthy/ enthusiasts. The middle class of

This is very true. Roads only seem to get worse and worse and i love my car but am tired of worrying about bottoming out or scraping the chin everywhere!

yeah that is odd the hyundai venue has wireless carplay standard.

it’s crazy that the Hyundai Venue has wireless apple carplay standard and the ioniq 6 does not wtf?

Wireless apple carplay adaptors have existed for years. you connect the adaptor to your car’s usb port and your phone’s carplay will work wirelessly like it does in any newer car. then you can charge via whatever power device you want!

there are not that many series hybrid drivetrains available historically where the engine does not actually drive the wheels and generates electricity only it will be interesting to see how it works out.

that is odd. I have never had an issue like that on my prius. I have notice some sluggish performance on an extremely hot 100 degree degree day but think the battery was having problems staying cool which is somewhat understandable. I don’t think the Ram will be disappointing , but i guess disappointment depends
