that sounds weirdly cool but also the water likely came from everyone’s sweat and breath. Eww.

i love that it is on fire underwater.

I would imagine the ramcharger would not let the battery deplete below 25 percent and would only charge the battery to about 80ish percent full. I could see users being able to select an “ev mode” to keep the gas engine from turning on but when the battery gets to a low enough threshold that will no longer be

the chevy 1st gen volt ICE could drive the wheels however it never did so without also having assistance from the electric motors. the second gen volt powertrain was nearly identical to a prius plug in hybrid and the gas engine functioned like a more normal hybrid.

This was my thought as well. Even a pentastar 3.6 charger is a riot when you floor it.

A genesis without a warranty is a big yikes

I would be way more scared if the snakes than the gators

This should have been the headline two years ago. Instead legislators wanted to resort to sueing kia/hyundai instead of doing their damn job and passing laws. They could have mandated immobilizers and also make automaker’s retroactively install them for all vehicles 5 years old or newer free of charge.

Wow so if everyone refused to tip businesses would literally sort out the financials overnight and start paying employees fair wages? Or do you think this is just a cash grab and not much of this “surcharge” is going to make it to the workers?

this is so true. you usually find them speeding 20 over the speed limit weaving through traffic and it’s just infuriating because they are in one of the worst vehicles to do that in....

stick rear axle..

A device like the flipper zero could easilly be made at home by a bad actor. These security vulnerabilities have always existed if the power company refuses to beef up their security thats on them. If there is a bluetooth vulnerability that lets a hacker shut down your phone you should be mad at the phone

50 years.. thats a long ass time. Probably a f150/silverado 1500. Or a 5.0 ford mustang or a pentastar dodge charger. Basing this mostly on specilation on parts availability 50 years from now. Something easy to work on that sold in large quantities.

Toyota just cant build enough cars period. multi year wait for rav4 hybrids , sienna hybrids, corolla cross hybrids. Apparently the corolla cross hybrid is unobtainium in canada. Its hard to use sales numbers as proof that demand for toyota hybrids is low when there are people waiting months-years for delivery.

Rookie move these guys should have opened a laundry mat. Or an arcade.

Isn’t this good? That the whole point of the program is to get clean cars on the road!

Savagegeese on youtube did a video very recently interviewing lucid and the creation of their company and the development of the air sapphire and the things to come down the line.

They spent a shit ton of money in r&d the only way to quickly get a return is to focus on luxury vehicles first. They are going to make mass market cars too later down the road

omg it comes in yellow! of course its not coming to the usa.  maybe we will get this with a lexus badge

hybrids are AWESOME! im driving over 1500 miles a month spending maybe 100 dollars on fuel.  Yeah a battery electric would be even cheaper to run but to put up with the hassle of range anxiety and shit public charging infrastructure not worth it!
