You would have to have liability only coverage on this. If you tried to file a claim your insurance would just deny the claim. If someone hit you they would have to make you whole but you will only get the value of a r32 not any of the costs of the body swap ect.

This is a seriously valid point. A lot of people have less than 7,500 tax liability after all other credits and deductions are taken into account. It should be point of sale credit so that every individual can take advantage of the credit, and have a lower car payment.

it is easy to de rate the power by reducing rpm or restricting the air intake. Since nascar engines have to run wide open throttle for 400, 500, 600  miles during the summer in extreme temperature it would make sense to leave some headroom so the engines last the whole race. toyota doesnt have enough batteries to sell much more than they do. The make as many as they can and they all sell. Toyota does not really have to convince anyone to buy the prius, or almost any of their cars.
