I have one and I secretly love it. I can’t afford any of the cars that I actually WANT. So i bought a prius, might as well save money on gas/ maintenance/ insurance. I agree, but the price difference is not that much more. Also honda dealers are marking up civic Si’s $4,000 plus so the integras are oftentimes cheaper as there are no markups on acuras.

Several us states have upped their gas taxes and have added flat taxes on EV vehicles registration.  You are right adjustments need to be made but Eliminating gas taxes and charging “per mile” is not the magic bullet that many people are claiming it would be.
