modern full size trucks are 50-75 thousand dollars. they are full blown luxury vehicles now. Sure they are impractical in some ways but so is a corvette. Most corvette owners don’t drive their car on a track either. A moderately equipped midsize truck is $45,000 now.  the days of your average person being able to

If you drive a ferrari they have all these rules about what you can and can’t do with your car or you will be banned for life from buying another one. I’m sure the ferrari drivers are the same dickheads as a lambo driver but VW doesn’t really give a shit and Ferrari will shadow ban you or outright sue your ass.

I have one and I secretly love it. I can’t afford any of the cars that I actually WANT. So i bought a prius, might as well save money on gas/ maintenance/ insurance. Also depreciation is super low on them so I look at my prius as an investment into buying something that I really want in a few years

I like the redesign and this makes me kinda sad. Sure orange man bad but it looks sharp!

someone will buy it. likely will be another dealer that will keep it/baby it or someone that will turn it into a drag racer. but someone will buy it at this price. No it doesn’t make that much financial sense to daily drive it unless you can get classic car insurance for it as you are likely to only get 8k from

I agree, but the price difference is not that much more. Also honda dealers are marking up civic Si’s $4,000 plus so the integras are oftentimes cheaper as there are no markups on acuras.

the new colorado looks impressive. Im holding my breath for MPG and final pricing. I was on the ranger configurator the other day and a mid level spec quad cab 4x4 was $48,000 The colorado being standard quad cab for 30k is a good starting point Looks possible to get an LT 4x4 with the “Plus” engine for under 40k

I don’t know the legality of that.  and you can not put tolls on interstates due to the interstate commerce act

if you take a fully loaded civic the integra is not really that much that much more money. Also people are still paying over MSRP for civics right now. A lot of people in the Acura thread on reddit said they paid msrp or even under msrp for their integras they purchased and the integra was actually cheaper than the

We should fight to keep all of our freedoms and not give any so willingly. Sure it seems harmless to put trackers in our vehicles, theres traffic cameras everywhere already, but the government will just continue to take your freedoms until you don’t have anything left. I don’t want to live one day like people in China

Several us states have upped their gas taxes and have added flat taxes on EV vehicles registration.  You are right adjustments need to be made but Eliminating gas taxes and charging “per mile” is not the magic bullet that many people are claiming it would be.

does your state have trailer license plates I thought that was the point of the tag on trailers to pay road use on the trailer,

Gas taxes aren’t going anywhere anytime soon. I can see states mandating a seperate “road use” power meter be installed on everyone’s ev chargers to tax the electricity at a seperate rate on your power bill and visible outside everyone’s homes but i can see people getting around that by charging via 120 volt chargers

charging out of state visitors a fee for driving in your state could potentially be unconstitutional (i’m not a lawyer) . The USA has something called the Interstate Commerce Act (1887) that regulates trade and travel across state lines. If it was that simple as to charge visitors a fee to drive every state would

why is it okay to put trackers in everyone’s cars? Why would you be willing to give up your freedom so easily? also the infrastructure for the data collection , software , the cost of the trackers , billing system is NOT cheap. there would be a ton of cost in just implementing this system. for what ? giving small

this would not work because people drive out of state. you would be charged a gas tax on fuel purchased out of state and then be taxed again in your home state for the miles driven out of state.  Also if you eliminate the state gas tax then you would not be collecting revenue from people who drive through of visit

Acura integra is a hatch.

I wonder what epa benifits ram gets for being an only truck brand. Would rebranding ram as dodge hurt dodge CAFE numbers? I dont see the chrokee moving more units branded as chrysler it would probably be worse. Same with the hornet. You can’t badge engineer the current linup to get more sales. The best idea would be

modern day stelantis is reminding me of mid 2000s GM: too many brands. Not saying I would want Chrysler to be canceled but their volume is so low why would a giant corporation spend any energy increasing it. They can spend tons of resources to double triple, ect the chrysler volume or they could increase the sales of
