Ferrari makes its owners agree not to sell the car for 2 years. They also wont sell this to anybody. You will have to own multiple Ferraris already before they will let you purchase a v12 model.

only one option for me and it’s dragons.
Yeah chicken and egg situation. I think collectors spent the money to restore the cars because it was a passion project and when it was time to let the cars go they would not sell them unless they recouped all or most of the cost they put in. Then you have the mechanics who built a business out of restorations once…
also there is thousands of dollars tied up in restoring the old cars. That is ultimately what is driving the prices up on the old cars. People are spending 100s of thousands of dollars to do frame off rotisserie restorations on these old cars. nobody is spending the money to restore the 1980s unibody cars. Either they…
i’m usually a 5 spoke guy but these look hideous.
Good suggestion but they sold like 4 of them lol
well there is the assumption that they would not just drive somewhere else with less traffic/better parking instead...
Trailblazer SS. 6.0l LS engine. All wheel drive launches. just crusie around town or add nitrus and take it on the drag strip.
the highlander has always been kind of on the smaller side and the first two generations did not have a third row it came as an option later. I can see customers who upgraded from a 2010 highlander to a 2022 highlander complain that it is too big. Toyota had to compete in the size wars as crossovers have gotten bigger…
Nobody leases vehicles anymore and it sounds like automakers are trying shit to recoup the money they were getting from leases. Automakers made all the money off of leases and the dealerships just got a 1 time payment as a commission for facilitating the transaction. Also , if hyundai is a potential customer’s first…
yeah 280 horsepower out of six cylinders and a turbocharger would be impressive if this was 1996 not 2023.
The saab example is a decent example but the more powerful engines had a lot more upgrades to justify the price difference. The internals of the engine was stronger and the cylinder head had more flow as well and the turbo was a more powerful model as well. I would like to know what he differences between the two…
Assuming the car makes the power advertised is not even an assumption. Very few automakers under report power numbers and if they do it is on an exotic / luxury car not a regular family car. I am not complaining about the power number i’m complaining that it takes mazda six cylinders and a turbo just to get 280…
interior looks great. the exterior is not bad. the $30,000 price makes me throw up in my mouth. the prices of everything is outpacing wage growth so fast! me and my wife both recently got promotions and it feels like instead of having “extra” money we are just keeping up with everything else getting more expensive.
with the Amazon contract Rivian is not going anywhere anytime soon. If they lose the Amazon contract things might get dicey for them. The amazon van looks truly innovative and I can see a lot of other companies be interested in a van specced out almost exactly like that one. (fedex, ups, post offices around the…
interesting concept to discuss. But this is so far into futurism that what’s the point. First we need to get to a point where autonomous vehicles are the majority of cars on the road before we discuss things like this.
Cadillac escalade. Even with the /V engine the power is not really that impressive anymore compared to the modern eclectic powertrains. Also it would help cadillac’s image if it’s most famous modern vehicle wasn’t such a gas guzzler. Not really saying the current version is any bad but it would be better as an EV.
I think the issue would be how do you make an EV transition on a classic car safe in a crash.
280 hp and 332 from a six cylinder engine in 2023 is pathetic WITHOUT a turbo. How do you possibly make an engine that weak? Also why is there two different engines??
Is there a US based airline that does not suck major ass anymore?
