What if the company goes bankrupt or defunct between launch and the expiry time? How much influence does the us government have over a satellite   owned and operated by a company non in the us?  Basically what im asking is how enforceable is this really?

I derped and meant the “1" series.

I would just like to see a statement from the car manufacturers on technology like this. I don’t believe that the cars are designed for this use case and the batteries would likely make it to their warranty period with no issues but in 10 years that battery is likely toast. Imagine having to replace a $10,000 battery

bmw 2 series with the non turbo engine is also a good choice.

This is dumb. i’m not sharing my car’s battery with anybody i would purposely find a way to turn off bi directional charging. What Happens when my battery is dead and i cant drive somewhere that has power to charge it?

Brand identity is a very American thing. thank GM and ford. Their slogan was “a car for every purse and purpose.” Once you “graduate” from a chevy to a buick you can look down at all the “poors” in their fords and chevys. and once you buy your first Oldsmobile or Cadillac you have truly distinguished yourself as a

Get an old truck.  Lots of options for engines,  relatively cost effective to retrofit air conditioning.  When you are done you will have a truck you can drive for your next project.  Parts are going to be easy to find and affordable. Going to be easy to sell when the time comes.

If your going to go for a hybrid Mustang the hybrid drivetrain that is in the f150 and explorer would be much better!

currently the ev battery material is only lasting 10 years give or take. EV vehicles with the humongous expensive batteries is turning into planned obsolescence.

Could we put a “gas guzzler tax” on these HUMONGOUS luxury ev boats. With all of the battery materials every 1 ev hummer is 3 if not 4 EV family cars. If we can’t eat the rich on their income taxes let’s make all of their toys cost more! Also put a weight limit on what you can drive without a CDL to deter people from

there are people who don’t want a hybrid or honda simply does not have the capacity yet to make 100 percent of crvs hybrid.

Ferrari’s whole deal is that they are exclusive. You can not buy whatever new Ferrari you want. If you come to a dealership and want to buy a NEW ferrari they will make you buy a used ferrari, if you pass their application process in a year or two they might let you try for a new one but you will probably be driving a

higher upfront costs and smaller lifespan = higher total cost to own per mile driven.

would you buy a 2011 leaf at any price? what about a 2012 tesla model S?

The only problem is most evs are effectively scrap after 12 years the battery is shot and it does not make financial sense to replace them. If you can not afford a brand new car ( or lightly used one) you just cant drive. They days of buying a beater until you get on your feat are going to be over.

works for apple i guess... if you sell apple products there are minimum and maximum prices you can sell product for. Dealerships helped ford deliver product nationwide very quickly with little cost to ford. Now that ford is such a giant of a company these dealerships need ford more than ford needs them. Ford could

There are a lot of rwd electric cars for sale right now. Believe it or not there is a HUGE portion of the market in the snow belt who either has no interest in rear wheel drive or they actively refuse to buy rear wheel drive. Compile this with a study done by bmw where over 50 percent of their owners dont even know

the ceo of stellantis said they had a 5 or 6 year plan where they are allowing each brand to continue to run independently and then they will re evaluate what brands need consolidating.. Chrysler needs to import some DS cars to strengthen it’s luxury offerings but the brand has built its’s whole identity around “made

i think a mustang with the explorer/f150 hybrid drivetrain would be badass but I understand that with the supply chain being strained it is probably too difficult to produce enough of these powerplants for the existing platforms.  Ford would be better off expanding the hybrid drivetrain to the base model explorer

how many Buicks does GM sell? it would be dumb NOT to take the buyback at this point. If every dealer takes the buyback then GM will have to pay the dealers to start selling the buicks again and pay for those fancy upgrades.
