I saw The Staves when I toured with Civil Wars a few years ago. Probably one of the best live shows ever. Their voices are so lovely. I just adore this new album.

Oh, we totally had Missouri history, though I think only 2 different years of it were required.

Yeah. We always had a 'Yay Missouri' week to convince us we weren't living in the worst state ever and waffle cones are something everyone loves, so they were a common focus. Like we made fake ones out of construction paper and had ice cream parties.

As someone who grew up with a Missouri education, I really thought waffle cones were discovered in St. Louis. Like, we had a whole week about that in middle school. I wonder what else they lied to me about.

And this is exactly why we shouldn't count on churches/christian groups for social welfare. They always have horrible strings attached. If you can't follow the law, you do not get federal funding, how is that difficult?

I would think Brownback would give him a run for his money. He has a very horrible history with education in Kansas.

Nope! One of the pizza joints across from my dorm in college had it and I was hooked. I even had my husband figure out how to add it to our pizzas.
