I can’t believe how much this is being ignored by everyone. There have been multiple legislators saying they wouldn’t approve a funding for Mizzou until Click is fired. That is such bullshit. Agreed! She is 100% an easy scapegoat. I get that what happened wasn’t great, but the pressure to fire her had little to do with what she did, and more to do with distracting everyone from the real issue while putting a face to their blame.

Should be noted how the MO legislators tried to hold the university budget hostage until they fired Click. In fact they are still using the unrest as grounds for cutting funds since the beginning.

As someone who went through the process of reporting a campus assault to both the school and police, I have very little sympathy left for the accused. Yoffe is a horrible human being, and great job on Willingham refusing to talk to her.

Wolfe is just one part of the problem with what is wrong at Mizzou. While ousting him is a great place to start, there is so much more work to be done. Luckily there are amazing activist on campus, so I am very hopeful for this change.

As someone who did an internship there in high school and currently works alongside many of these dickbags, I would like to second that last paragraph. Chastity belts and blinders for all of them. Bonus if they have to wear them the entire time they are in town.

And I think that is where education and seeing each person as a unique person is so important. I think these decisions need to be made by an imformed team of doctors, nurses, and other medical professionals (and family when applicable)

That is what I was thinking. This facility did everything right from the looks of it. How can people keep saying it is just people in the facility grossed out by sex?

Education! There is a big push to add sections about residence rights regarding sexuality in all nurse assistant/aide training along with adding course and sections available for continual education needed by nurses and administrators.
