I could see that, but honestly trying to define herself AGAINST Trump seems like a better strategy than trying to win him or his voters over. The hardcore Trumpists aren’t going to give a shit. I think it would be tough for Congress to act as a check on him even if they weren’t broken. You’d still need 2/3rds of the Senate to vote to remove him and that’s only happened once before.

I knew about it and I don’t follow her or anyone in their family. The Oscars have writers who pre-write this stuff, so they should have looked it up.
