Roberts has lost all control of the court, and thanks to Thomas not recusing himself, everyone can be sure the institution is nakedly political. Roberts kept wanting to talk about integrity and how the court isn’t political, and that horse has left the stable.

Judges are playing with fire here. Maybe they love the cops, maybe they just want to see McKesson get in trouble, but it doesn’t take more than a couple of seconds to think of a recent “protest” that turned into an insurrection that you can link Trump to.

I was watching Morning Joe and even that ex-Republican was losing his cool, yelling at the camera saying Merrick Garland needs to do something... but it’s really looking like he won’t. I’m not sure what it would take. We can see the crimes. But even the new NYC DA is backing down and losing prosecutors over it.

It’s definitely a huge deal. He should face impeachment for that. He clearly should have recused himself, and even the dissent was him trying to protect his wife’s information from getting out.
