That gif just changed me life.
This in particular feels deliberate.
I encountered tons of Europeans wearing socks and sandals, so Idk.
for a minute I thought you were all-caps'ing SAD because you were filled with sadness and it necessitated emphasis.
It is a big deal. She watched a movie about slavery and wept about Macklemore. That is a HUGE deal. That is fucked up. That is White privilege. That is delusional. That is disgusting.

Aww. I feel sorry for her. These kinds of people dream of stardom their whole lives. And she seems to have everything but the right songs and whatever quality makes you interesting to an American public. So to be right on the edge of what you want and then told to "go away" is brutal. Haven't we all dreamed a lofty…
No, it's not. The ultraviolet rays produced by tanning beds are not a component of SAD lamps.
Great parents can still have shitty kids despite their best efforts. And she seems to have been a good influence for the older daughter. She's not perfect, I'm sure, but she's a damn sight better than a mother who would date her own daughter's rapist.

she said HER teen years sucked lol
ok - this just made me straight lol
Yours too, eh? Things got better for me towards the end but grades 7-10 were torture. I graduated at 17. Started early...that's a whole other story.
LOL, I remember worrying about getting old at 29 and then things in my life got better. At 50 I might want to feel, physically, like I did at 30, but the thought of being 17 with all the drama has NO appeal what so ever.
And there's the nail in the coffin for the theory that Lorde is much older than she claims to be.
