A game that can charge whatever it wants and still sell 10 million. Once one does it successfully, ALL will do it henceforth. And that’s cool with me. These massive, 20-80 hour games have gotten so affordable that I tend to buy too many and never give them the time they deserve. Let’s adjust.

Someone I know on another forum was a Jehovah’s Witnesses and the way the treat children is akin to child abuse according to him, and he listed a great amount of really f***ed up things about the religion which after doing a bit of research seem to be all true, so I think it’s appalling that there hasn’t been a proper

He wrote them in II and Brotherhood. I believe Clay wrote them for Revelations. Unsure about III. Some flak at Ubistergo wrote the later ones I think.

The game lacks the history of locations. Most locations are only informed on their history at the peripheral level. I do not feel like I am learning about Egypt other than so much info on mummy’s. Ice always thought Assassin’s Creed games miss the opportunity to teach us all history, civics, liberal arts. Perfect

My boyfriend’s been playing this, and it does seem meaningfully different from the typical Assassin’s Creed. I’m not sure if it’s different enough for me to really want to give it a go, but it’s easier to admire the craftsmanship of the historical setting and overall visual design when you aren’t being completely

“The Monster at The End of This Book”, or, as I like to call it, “Babys Introduction to Post-Modernism” is one of the all-time greatest books ever.

Seconded! I’m looking forward to rejoining the clan in my most gloriously ugly outfits this winter.

Oops! This comment section got toxic quick! Not that I want to weigh in on what amounts to “who counts?” when it comes to liking your chosen hobby. Nah, I’d rather talk about what drew me to Destiny in the first place, and what kept me interested enough to try the raids (and eventually beat them!) with my group of

My experience with Destiny 1 (and 2) was I went a good 3-4 months of playing the game and never speaking to another individual. It wasn’t until I was approached by a couple Gameological people that I tried the whole talking to people via a headset thing. I’m sure you aren’t surprised, but the Gameological crew was

Second the 100.io. I’ve met some very good, very polite people through there.

Clayton, if you are looking for a group to team up with, there are several Gameological people in my clan. If you want to try the raid sometime, you’d be more than welcome. My clan is a very laid back group of people in their late-30s/early-40s, so while our time is valuable to us, hanging out and having a good time

This guy knows.

Destiny 2 is a lot of fun solo. The campaign is a blast. Leveling up your first 20 levels feels good. Nabbing your first exotic is exciting. The gunplay is some of the best in the business. The Crucible can be exhilarating if you’re on a streak, and the 4v4 set-up forces players to work together. The Strikes, which

Yeah, reading a ton of social anxiety in this piece.

The thing about finding people via LFG... it just kinda depends on which LFG service you use. The only one I’ve really used is the100.io and I would recommend it.

Counterpoint: The fun of Destiny and Destiny 2 is multiplied by the amount of dependable people you know playing it. I wouldn’t advise anyone to play these games solo.

This. For all its faults Destiny was the game that finally made me appreciate FPS games. It’s peerless in its feel. I actually play pvp shooters now and I’m not half bad. The ability to earn rewards for pve in the crucible helped keep me feeling casual about my play and I learned incrimentally rather than feeling

Well then, I guess there’s nothing to do but apologize on behalf of the creators for not meeting your visual standards ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Sounds like the first DLC will drop around December 5th. Barry, Arturs, and I will be anxiously waiting for your return!

One quick gripe and then I will move on with my life. After perusing the comments, one thing I keep on seeing are people air their grievances about Destiny 1. I came into Destiny after the Taken King was released, so I missed 90% of the messiness and vitriol directed at the first game; and it sounds like a lot of it
